Boyle man cited for illegally burning

A Junction City man was cited Monday after he allegedly attempted to burn trash in his yard on 425 W. Shelby St., in violation of a city ordinance.

Here is something you may not realize . If they can get hold of your insurance company they will charge it some BIG bucks for responding to your trash fire .

You are all missing the point burning anything besides uncoated paper products is against KY state law. Burning plastics & other products releases toxic gasses & pollutes the air that we breath. To report illegal burn sites call 1-800-burnlaw. Maximum fines up to $25,000 plus cost of cleaning up burn site. My main point is it is 2013 the days of the old burn barrel are over.
