Desperate news reporting. The header should be| "ATTENTION: Police Investigate Suspicious Substance at UVA!......" And last line | "uh, well, uh, err, "the substance was found not to be hazardous". The header sucks you in just to get you there only to find out it was BULLS*&^

There must be more to the story. Envelopes leaking a white powder are pretty rare you know.

I was impressed with the twelve fire and rescue units that responded. Sounds like an episode of "Cops" pulling over an expired license tag....
I was REALLY impressed when they evacuated the building AFTER the fire and rescue units showed up.

I got two emergency alerts, each with its own end alter, from UVA about a chemical spill at Caruthers Hall. Not only did it require the services of 12 emergency units, but the entire University had to be notified and prepared for ....what exactly? I wonder what it would take to completely shutdown or lockdown the university - not much I guess. The lawyers must have told them to react excessively so they can't get in trouble.

Kind a like when someone stubs their toe in this town, fist the cops, then 2 firetrucks and THEN the rescue vehicle. Got things just a tad bit backasswards in this cow town.
