There is no law stopping her from joining another fire dept.

Do you really believe that any fire district in the local vicinity is going to let her join their district? All that are local have made their opinion known in regards to that call relating to my grandchild.

I understand what your saying but im just putting it out there that it could happen if she chooses to join another dept. And if they except her application.

well hopefully they do their research before taking her in. Her admittance by way of plea bargain, and other things that have surfaced should be an eye opener for any district.

She didn't admit anything technically. In return for paying the money back etc, she has no record.

That's still concidered guilty. If she didn't do it then she should have taken it all they way. Why pay something back that you never did ????

So she took a plea deal and there is no public record of it? Then why did she have to resign from the Sheriff dept dispatch?

Simply because she can't prove what she did with the money after the camera was off of. The picture showed her pocketing it, but nothing says she actually kept it in her pocket after that photo was taken, I am sure! The consensus is that it left the firehall in her pocket, but who is going to search her?

You all go off the subject of the house that was lost due to a fire. I don't think this family wants to know about other peoples issues. So stupid !

The whole thread was started over a quote in the post journal. Never was anyone discussing the house fire or residents inside that lost their home. This one got picked at because of the newspapers report of the way it happened according to the "chief".

So the subject from beginning to end was about the newspapers reporting and the person they quoted. The headline was about the fire and the family.
