It is NOT a CUT when you reduce proposed increases. How stupid do you think we are? Expenses continue to go up year after year. Fund balance continue yo go down. It time for REAL management for the future of the County.

Ok I just read the article and I am a supporter of our county mayor. But your plan is to plan a county wide fundraiser to help with the budget problem. Now I am really out done on that one. Realistically how much money do you think you can raise off of that. And what about the years to come, I am speechless on that answer. I will really be glad when we admit that the jail complex has broke our county. Madison county's jail complex is not as grand as our and they have 10 times the people and homes to get taxes from. And for the person that did the first comment off this post please stop commenting and making false accusations about people stealing. It's not the time or place for your poor writing and foolish comments.

I'm thinking this is hilarious.
The new jail
The beautification of the square
Are just two things that has broke this county.
This county has been going down for years and the writing has been on the wall the whole time. The length of the Christmas parade was a give away.
Charity will not help this one bit.

yep size does matter. the only thing not getting smaller is that expensive jail.
after spending 9 million to redo the downtown area we got us an ATT store to show for it.. Someone need to ask the mayor and scott ledbutter where all them expensive restauarnts are they said we would get. and shoe stores and so on. aint nothing up there but damn lawyer offices.
any dumbass knows our folks are looking for the cheapest all you can eat buffeet for $9.99 with catfish, hush puppies and white bean and onions.
dim witted politicians is about all I can say. oh, by the way we did get the courthouse painted.

What about all these millions we are spending on our airport. Why do we need a fuel station with grade A jet fuel and no jets land here?? We got this big fancy fence they put up to keep things off the runway and there are gaps under the fence that's you can walk under. The airport is the real waste of money in this town. Don't believe me ride out and look how dead it is!!

That money is a grant from the state and the feds. Would you rather not accept it.
? Mcnairy and fayeetw county are doing the same thing. That fence is part of our Homeland security depts doing.

Why does EMS need all the supervisor vehicles. Looks like a waste of money.
