You people are crazy Bagwell couldn't fight his way out of a paperbag, and he's making you all out to be a bunch of rednecks when he says he is tired of their garbage. Baghead should be ran out the county. They ran him out of Claxton run his arrogant butt out of Andersonville!!!

Say that to his face Little Al. The chief could whip you, while he is fighting a fire. The Clinton Fire Dept operates under his authority. When Knoxville needs help with a big fire he is the one they call, not to help, but to lead.

It is not fair for us to work for free. We risk our lives to fight fires. Chief Bagwell is one of the bravest firefighters in the country. He has invented several ways to fight fire that are used throughout the world. We are blessed to have him. He could make several hindered thousand dollars if he were chief in New York City, but he chooses to stay here. We need to pay this man to protect us.
bagwell is a idiot i have new him for along time he almost ran claxton fire dept bankrupt. by buy fire engines off from him. he has a part time job working for ferria fire equipment. he does teach class to firefighters but sucks at that to my chief ran him off. get your noise out of his ass and you will see

People are entitled to be paid. Chief is willing to take a six figure pay cut to help the people of this community. He is over three fire stations, the one at Belmont, the one next to the school and the mountain road station. Pay him 40,000 for each station. Then let him have a sales commission for selling the station the fire trucks and that is fair pay. With a man like him you don't need to pay any of the other firefighters. They will work for free to learn from chief Bagwell. A year or two learning from him and they can go to any fire dept in the country.
Why do you oppose him?
First of all, Mr Bagwell does NOT have an impeccable reputation. And if he was one of the greatest firefighters in the world like you said earlier. If that were true, I'm pretty sure he wouldn't be in Andersonville!!!
I have talked to several people in the County,(some of which are local politicians) and I can assure you there are many questions regarding Mr Bagwells past, including his handling of finances. Someone I am very close to that works in the fire insurance biz also had these same concerns about him.
I will NOT be THREATENED into paying to have one fire truck and four rednecks in their pickups show up at my house if it should happen to catch fire. Nor do I have any interest in paying Mr Bagwell twice as much as he deserves.
I would suggest everyone go to your insurance company and go over your options with them. For $3.40 a month, we raised our insurance value by $10,000. We then designated that money to go towards paying the fire dept should they have to put a fire out at our house.$40 a year is a lot less than what they're asking from us.
Stay strong and stay united everyone-don't be bullied. We do have other options!

You are wrong. Chief is considered one of the top fire fighters in the country. He is in Andersonville because he wants to help us start a county wide fire dept. He is a great man. All I see here is jealousy.

He turned it down. Chief is trying to start a state wide program where every county works together.

Give the chief a chance. I would say pay him what he is worth, and every other fire fighter will train with him to learn from chief for free. Some might even pay.

How much do you think he is worth... I cannot see 40,000 per station cause he still wont give up all his many other jobs. He needs to make up his mind what he wants to do. He is a part time fireman a truck salesman and then you talk like everybody wants him stop picking the peoples pockets and go somewhere else. He has got too big for andersonville. 125,000 is more than the chief makes at Knoxville city
