I'm also wanting to work for Clinton fire department as a paid firefighter and I have to have firefighter 1. will these classes from Andersonville fire department help me when I go to join Clinton. again I apologize for asking so many questions

Yes they do require you to take them to be a firefighter at Andersonville. They are free to Andersonville firefighters. As far as I know the certifications are also good if you're hired on at Clinton

Clinton frowns on people from Andersonville so that choice is yours. The class starts in September and finishes in March

I have two questions I would like to ask, I was wondering if you could help me out. Is Rodney Redder the new fire chief at AVFD or is he just Asst. fire chief, I wanted to know if Jeff Bagwell was still fire chief at AVFD. I was supposed to went down there to pick up application and talk to Jeff and I didn't get to because I had family problems going on, I just wanted to know if Jeff was still the fire chief because I need to talk to him. Thanks
