What? You are as stupid as the Commission. They allowed Greenhead an interest in the truck with County money.
The money geenhead puts up is the countys money remain from funds given by commission. Same old stuff. County will not own anything different.

The CC talk with forked tung, they say they contract with the VFDs for fire protection then say the things they buy with the money from the contract is the counties. What company would sign a contract that was like that? Any of you have a busness?

At no time should any person, corporation, or any kind if business own any equipment bought with tax payers money. If you can see the wrong in that them you must be one o the fire club members. Notice the key word club. At no time should these people be called fire departments. None of them are capable of stopping a structure fire. They have a supposed contract to provide fire service that they are not capable of providing. You need to wake up and stop supporting the theft of tax dollars.

Shark, old timer, you are straight out dumbfu@$Ks. If you hire a builder do you expect to buy his tools? I'll give you answer because youre stupid... NO!
If I pay a company, fire station,I should not be ask to purchase their truck. You are a company and shouldbudget accordingly.
The nice thing is a business can be sued. Unlike immunity granted to a Government.

If the gov. cant get sued why do they keep stoping the public meeting to go back to the private mtg. so they can discuss the law suit?

I the county contracts a road to be paved they don't have to buy the equipment to pave the road and then give it to the contractor idiot. You have no clue what you are even talking about. These fire corporations take money to provide a service. Fire service which first of all they can't provide because they do not have the correct personnel or training. Second they want the tax payers to buy the equipment they need to provide the service and put it in their names. Wrong isn't even the word here. Nothing you can say can compair to this and nothing about this is right. If you are a member if one if these corporations then I consider you a thief and so should every tax payer in the county. You are over your head here shark and your fire club and free cell phone and gas is about to come to an end.

Let me put this simpley as I can. If you or anyone you know are a member of one of these fire corporations then they or you are a thief. Anyone that is contracted to do labor or provide a service is responsible for having their own equipment, knowing how to provide the service, properly training employees and the list goes on. Not one of the departments with maybe the exception of Chipley, can provide competent fire service. Tax payers are being ripped off and it's time to stop it. All the members will try to threaten or scare people I am sure but in the end Washington county will have a compatent and professional fire service. Take your land and you free building thanks to the tax payers that threat won't work either. It's time to cut losses and end this joke. The decent volunteers will stick the thief's will run.

That's always the response of the backer of thieves, good bye or see ya. Rural Washington county has no fire service now. So what are you saying here??? 1 centrally located full time 4 man crew (with those volunteeres that want to remain and be a part of something great and other on call staff) can respond faster to anywhere in this county and actually stop a home from completely burning down. Unlike any of the current volunteere departments now that can't put out a camp fire. Do you know I saw a volunteere pull a booster hose line and try to spray water inside of the bedroom window to stop a house fire. Needless to say the home wound up a complete loss because of that and the fact that the person driving the truck didn't know how to put it in pump gear. By the time any help arrived the house was fully involved and a parking lot when they left. The help that arrived had not one person willing to go inside to stop the fire. You don't fight fires from outside the house that's basic firefighting bud. The county owns one fire truck on paper and not one other piece of fire or rescue related equipment. The land and any building on it will return to the original property owner if the department is closed. Now someone tell me how for one second you think this is right. It is the only county in the world that operates this way. People that have full time/ volunteere departments everywhere love it. They are actually part of something that can accomplish what they are designed to do, put out fires without total loss of the home or it's content. Rural Washington county has nothing but cell phone using, gas in their POV taking, don't know how to fight a stucyure fire clubs right now. The cc will have to grow a set when we come calling. The figures will be right and these so called fire chiefs better have it together cause I fully intend to expose them all and I am not trying to make any friends. The truth always stings a little so be ready to take it on the chin. Put your big boy panties on and come on up and enjoy the show. We will be on the agenda for next months meating.
