Worth noting that Boeing has not fallen 5% or more in over a year. This is an egregious $4 billion reaction to smoke (originally $8 billion intraday for just this one company), on the crown of an empty parked plane. With the longer history of the company and macroeconomy taken into account, there is a strong likelihood this news event will have a strong positive bias on the stock price this Monday. Though the most likely case is still -and as we generally see with Boeing in particular- a minimal impact from the incident. See more interesting tidbits on other topics at .
