well that isn't a surprise. now what is Obama gonna do now? put more money with the non-hardliners? yeah that will not work bc they alone cannot defeat Assad. the insurgents need the hardliners to fight the battle. and if they all jointly defeat Assad, Syria will be a bloodbath for at least 5 years bc those hardliners will not give up and leave after they lost a lot of their men. and no western country will step in to stop the bloodletting bc they saw their mistakes in Iraq, and will not place their soldiers in danger. what is wrong with our government? if the policy is to destroy Syria, they're doing a good job - and this is in direct contradiction to our public image as the moral police.
