This is sooo stupid on sooo many levels and is a last ditch effort by creationists to pour money into their failing "museum".

Evolution is a theory, just like gravity is just a theory.

What I find most interesting is the extent that people involved in this nonsense are willing to lie to proclaim a religious view that contains among its foundational principles prohibitions against false witness.

You know I thought that at first. Then I was thinking how little YEC/ID know about science and evolution and I reconsidered. It might be a worthwhile piece of fieldwork to see what they are seeing. I wouldn't waste resources specifically, but if I was in the area, I think I would stop by.

I would probably go, and bring children to view it as well.

However.

I would entertain this trip ONLY for the same reasons I would attend a KKK rally:

To demonstrate that there is still ignorance that we need to combat.

That is in part what I was thinking. Plus the need to know your enemy.

You two make good points. It probably is better to go to their den and show my future kids(I don't have kids now) the holes in arguments.

If an educated adult goes to the Creation Museum I would heartily recommend that he or she either wears a pair of Depends or at the very least a clean pair of pants.

When you laugh too much some people do lose control.

Would that classify the "museum" as a Weapon of Mass Defecation?

The Creation Science Museum's displays are incomplete for there's no representation (animatronic or just
depiction) of Fred and Barney, Wilma and Betty, Bam-
bam and the other kid. That friendly purple dinosaur is nowhere to be seen.
Without the inclusion of these and so many others, how can the Creation Science-ists proclaim that their
documentation of life's and earth's origins are com-plete?
The Bible tells them so? Hardly. They'd better read Genesis 1 thru 12 or so very carefully!!!

Wearing a saddle.

There are pictures.

It would be outrageously funny -- yet simultaneously sad and frightening -- to see this picture **WITH** the title of this thread beneath it:

"Creation Museum: Prepare io Believe!"

So bizarre.

I suppose desperate times require desperate measures. The ID crowd is chock-full-o magicians and tellers of tall tales. If you can believe the Biblical drivel, saddled dinosaurs aren't much of a leap from there.

How better to try to sway the illiterate masses than to "create" dumbed-down Disney? I'd go if my travels took me near there, view the exhibits, snicker as I viewed them, while I "Prepared to Believe"! LOL

If I ever find myself near there, I will take many pictures.

Of the visitors, not the exhibits.

As much as I'd like to 'view the stupidity'... I wouldn't be able to bring myself to actually have to pay for the opportunity

I wonder if they'd be on par with the "Wal-Mart people" pics? LOL!
