And why mercury is a liquid at room temperature. It is a relativistic effect!

I'd known this, vaguely, but this is a nice explanation: http://fuckyeahfluiddynamics.tumblr.com/post/...

"What's north of the north pole?". Funny. Didn't we have a big go-around with Marksman11 about this very thing?

New planet discovered with a lava ocean and an 8-hour year

Researchers have discovered an Earth-sized exoplanet that's even closer to its sun than Mercury is to ours.

Nice article!

And holy crap! An eight hour trip around its sun. That does not even seem possible. It would have to be some sort of capture since the tidal forces at that distance would be too great for a planet to form.

Of course with billions of stars to observed in just our galaxy we are going to find some very strange planets.

Probably explains why the surface is an ocean of lava. Wonder if it could eventually disintegrate.

Must have been one heck of a fluke shot to be captured at a relatively stable orbit of 8 hours, unless it's in an extremely gradual descent towards the sun.

The first one sounds like BS. I have never heard of carbon nanotubes in Damascus steel, and I can guarantee you that Damascus steel does not have the capabilities that they claim it can. Nothing cited to support the claim, so all that takes to debunk it is to call it BS.

Sorry Replay, the Iron Pillar of Delhi has a perfectly natural explanation too:

That is 0 for 2 at this point I am thinking they are all pure BS.

A research team in Germany published a report in 2006 revealing nanowires and carbon nanotubes in a blade forged from Damascus steel.

They may call it perfectly natural explanation but the mystery is how did they make something like that back then.

Too bad man can't make iron like that now days.

Maybe you need to Google the things in the videos separately. Each event is titled and you can find the articles about them. Most/many, even science can not explain.

By your reasoning if science cannot explain it then it must be BS is what I get from you. Science is a great study and tool but unfortunately it can't explain or find out everything.

Oh and Sub, I don't write the stuff or make the videos. I find them interesting and share them.
