I saw where the technology exists to 3D print a gun and now they are talking about food. This is pretty awesome technology, but I will hold my enthusiasm in reserve until the supermodel version hits the stores.

It's early days yet. Problem is the stuff isn't very durable. Otherwise you could use it to print replacement solid parts for machines or a handle for your door that's fell off or something. At the moment it's only really useful for art projects and modelling. Or maybe a temporary mould-maker I guess.
