I'm not too bad. I've only gotten 1 ticket since we've lived here. Sometimes, tho, I like to open the bike up.
I guess you represent yourself?

Do you have good enough contacts within the court system to get your own tickets easily dismissed?

And if so, is that an open book as far as the judges go or do that give you a warning about bringing in a lot of your own tickets?

Screaming Tunnel
An Ontario Ghost Story

retold by

S. E. Schlosser

There is a tunnel under the old railroad tracks just to the west of the Queen Elizabeth Way in Niagara Falls. It is known locally as the Screaming Tunnel. A path wanders through the tunnel and then up to an empty field on the hill. But the field was not always empty.

At one time, a large farm house stood in the field at the top of the hill, and in it lived a happy family. Then one night, the house caught fire. A young daughter was trapped in the house, and the only way to escape was through a wall of flames. The brave young girl covered her face with her arms and ran into the fiery doorway. Her long hair and her long nightgown began to smolder as she burst through the flames and rushed out of the house.

When the night air struck her smoldering clothing, it burst into flames, enveloping the girl in a raging inferno. The girl screamed in agony and ran blindly down the hill, away from the fire-stricken house. She staggered into the tunnel under the train tracks, her screams echoing and re-echoing through the night. Overcome by the flames, the girl fell to the floor of the tunnel, wailing in agony. She rolled frantically on the floor of the tunnel, trying to douse the flames, but her efforts were weak and ineffective. She was quickly overcome, and burned to death in the tunnel under the tracks.

After that night, anyone that dares strike a match in the tunnel under the tracks will hear the agonized death screams of the burning girl, and a ghostly wind will instantly blow out the match...

You can? But can they help me if I get a speeding ticket, lol? I guess they could on federal land.:)
That DA I met is actually pretty connected. His Dad heads of the NC state Senate (President Pro Temp) and there was speculation that he was going to challenge Kay Hagen for the U.S. Senate.
I actually had no idea who I was talking to until my wife asked what he did for a living, lol.
The guy who hosted the party is pretty well connected. He is friends with someone in the house or representatives, who I guess comes to some of his parties. His dad is on the board of Moses Cone or Cone Health. I've met up with and gone out with him and his dad a few times. They are really nice folks.
I met the host through my real estate agent, who is his fiance. It's hard not to become friends when you drive around with someone for 3 or 4 days ... we actually became good friends with our real estate agent and his wife in CO too.
Cool folks. They like to have a good time ... I dunno how many shots we all did together Saturday. I was wasted!! I told him my Munich story and he had a funny one too from the hofbrauhaus in Munich when he was in college too. It involved him dancing on tables (you can see why we get along so well, lol). We kept joking that we were going to Germany on the 12 and leaving the girls at home.
I highly doubt that any US Attorney would help out with a speeding ticket. lol

My hubby dabbled in politics a few years ago. So we were able to meet congressmen and house of representatives, and became friends with most of them. A former congressman rides his motorcycle with us, when he has the time. I am not the kind of person who gets all star struck with anyone. Up in New York, we used to hang out with a lot of DA's, judges and high ranking officials. They are just normal as you and I.

I wish your friend the best of luck if he decides to run against Hagan. Running for any seat in politics is extremely difficult. Hoping that he has the best campaign staff. I've been there on a lower level of politics and it was time consuming. I was campaign treasurer. Our campaign staff used to call me "anal" when it came to the finances. But, with me being so "anal" our campaign was the only one who wasn't brought up on violations. Just recently, I was asked to work with a gentleman who will be running for congress. I haven't yet decided.

Come to my crazy town and you don't need to get pulled over for the police to run you through their database. Just did a public records request and found out that me and hubby were run 45 times. Nice huh?

Be careful! My old landlord up in New York got tired of shoveling so he went out and bought the hand pushed snow plow. Let me make a long story, short. All the snow was in my living room.

I do miss the mountains and the changing of the leaves. But, I don't miss the freezing temps and the snow. And all the work that comes with the snow.

Damn news here, talking the same old thing the last month. 3 whiney conservative senators who got caught misleading on expense forms are now blaming his own party and the PM for it. The good news is the 1 liberal senator is actually getting charged with fraud because liberals are whiney criminals anyways..lol

You guys have reptetive news like that, like Obamacare etc all the time?..

Just venting...

Maybe you're in one of the areas with the new hih tech equipment that can run multiple plates at the same time within the same area? Have you heard of that, it's crazy!
