I hope one storm we have this winter will be one of them 'blizzards of the century' kinda thing. 3 days of whiteouts, wind, and snow half way up the telephone poles.
Seriously, I don't mind a couple of good winter storms...love it....but when the season gets too long then I'll complain.
Winters here in the NE have been epically bland for years I want 4.5 feet all at once and then another foot on top of that the next day! A "real" storm" lol.
But like you come Feb I'm all set and ready for spring.

Thanks for the umbrella. I'll take as much coffee I can get. The house is so dark and gloomy, making me sleepy.

But then you have to deal with the water runoff later?

If it's too boring please ignore :)

This, week the new TV shows start
Any one watch a nee one .
I watched Blacklist .
It was good ..a little bit of the plot is obviously
SILENCE OF lambs ..But only in that it's s young agent and a,seemingly bad guy ...BUT. there is,I think a,lot more twist and turns and bigger plots, than a serial killer .
I didn't watch Hostages yet ??
Any one see it??
NEW SEASON ALL WEEK and I'm a tv nut Lol
Only saw 2 I liked on the,Voice last night ..only one of those kind I watch
Maybe we can get opinions eh a to try ..who knows,

Eh??? Not really it mealt pretty slow in the spring. The rivers get high but that's about it around here. There is very rarely any real flooding. We were more apt to have flooding this summer with the torrential downpours we had day after day.

I would like to see a storm again like in 1991, movie made about it Perfect Storm. Would hope for all the fishermen to be off the water though if that came around again. I was living in Newfoundland then, blizzard that night with 100 mph, gusts sometimes a little higher...nothing like being on the island in a North Atlantic gale like that....lol. Sure the US gets hurricanes gets far worst, tornados etc with higher winds, but a full out snow blast in 100 mph is pretty 'interesting'.

Were you in NH in 91? That storm must have also affected NH?

It's eastern Canada, weather sure can be drastic, summer was nice for what I indulged in every 2 weeks. But most of the time it isn't too bad. Sept surely here, it hit a high of 12C/54F today, chill didn't bother me at all.

Explain to us all what you mean by bad.

<quoted text>I will admit, snow storms are beautiful. It's the digging out that I didn't like. Living in NY, you work so hard at digging your car out for hours, then have the snowplow come and cover your car again. Those snowplow drivers have to laugh at you. I know I would. ;)
Ya didn't know any snowplow guys over in Jersey? Capisce?

Oh wait, you were upstate.

<quoted text>
Only evil people attack a mall, seeking to injure and murder innocents. I saw a story that a 4 year old British boy told one of the shooters that he was a "bad man". Out of the mouth of babes...
