Evolution was believed to be gradual according to the neo-Darwinian synthesis in the 1940s but there is now evidence that larger jumps do occur.

Very interesting stuff. So evolution = Gradual + non-gradual.

Like all good ideologies, it's immune to disproof. It comes from the Ministry of Truth & saying it's false is a thought crime. Look at this:

Junk DNA = Evolutionism & No junk also = evolutionism

The appendix is vestigial proving it evolved, the appendix is not vestigial proving it evolved

The coelacanth was extinct millions of years ago proving evolution, the coelacanth is not extinct proving evolution
