The word is "duwr" which can mean circle or ball .

The fact is, the earth is round and so is a circle. Anybody that says Isaiah 40:22 means otherwise is wrong. Atheists can't deal with the fact that there's an all knowing creator who watches everything. At the time of Isaiah, all of humanity thought the earth was flat. God said otherwise.

On the contrary. It's the deeply religious that can't deal with the fact that there is *NO* all knowing creator who watches everything. Atheists seem to be doing just fine.

God never "said" anything. The people at that time thought that the Earth was best described as a flat disc. Discs are round. They are also flat. The word used in that verse describes an "inscribed circle". An inscribed circle is one made with a compass and is not a sphere. They had a perfectly good word they could have used if they thought the world was a sphere, they did not use that word.

The fact that they thought the world was flat only reflects on their lack of education. Not on their intelligence. We know better now. Most of us also know that it is wrong to reinterpret a book in light of the knowledge that we have today. That is a form of lying. Don't try to rewrite your holy book with lies. That indicates you don't think that it is all that holy.

Everything was written down before the fact, thousands of years ago. The bible is mainly about God/Messiah and nothing needs to be changed or added. The OT is complete from beginning to end. Right now, it's okay if you don't believe in God. I'm just wondering how you can keep her covenant of life if you don't believe in her.

And how do you intend to keep the Flying Spaghetti Monster's covenant?

You are a blasphemer, that is considered a sin against Gods person. Those are the deadliest sins you can commit. It doesn't matter if you don't believe it. "But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul; all they that hate me love death" Proverbs 8:36.

How so?

I can assure you that I did not insult the Flying Spaghetti Monster in any way at all.

And I asked you a serious question. Why didn't you answer it?

You are making a mockery of God by comparing him with your imaginary god. You cannot sin against the living God and expect to live. God is only human, put yourself in his shoes. If you were the Judge, would you forgive someone who mocked you the way you do? "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom..." When the Messiah comes, the bible will be proven.

Hold it a second. I take great offense at that. My god is not imaginary, yours is.

All of what you just claimed can be used against you after you consume your last plate of pasta.

Do you think the FSM likes it when people spout obvious nonsense? Does he not have the best heaven ever created? Isn't that just like a terribly ignorant woman to ruin a good thing.

Genesis 6:5 (NIV)

The Lord saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time.

And he now is seeing it again. Look at all the meanness, mockery and hate in your words. Today people find happiness in mockery and greed. People rely on lies more than the truth.

God promised he would never again destroy all flesh by the waters of a flood. The sign of this covenant was the rainbow. But God will judge most of humankind again by fire. Isaiah 24:6 "Therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left". A few is three, but I think it means 3%. One tenth of Americans will survive and one sixth of Russians.

Humankind was created in the image and likeness of God. She has been born on this earth just like any other human person and she blends in. In human form, flesh and blood, she is called the Messiah because she is bound by the flesh. She will not be fully God until her return to Spirit form.

Now Susan I believe in God but,,,, You say God was born to this earth and is human. Who gave birth to God? I mean if you say He is human He could only come from other humans right?

Just for fun.... And not because I am a male but why do you always refer to God as "she"? Jesus is the son of God and the last time I checked two females cannot make a child. Making a child requires one male and the Virgin Mary was not a male.

It is time to put the cookoo back in the clock lady for he is just about to escape forever if you don't.
