THE INVALIDITY OF THE CLAIM THAT BACTERIAL RESISTANCE TO ANTIBIOTICS IS EVIDENCE OF EVOLUTION

Darwinists generally attempt to use the antibiotic resistance of bacteria as a so-called evidence of evolution. The fact is, however, that this attribute contributes no evolution to these life forms, but actually demolishes the theory of evolution as proof of Creation. The genes in bacteria that are resistant to certain antibiotics have existed long before those antibiotics were ever manufactured. This fact is expressed as follows in Scientific American:

Many bacteria possessed resistance genes even before commercial antibiotics came into use. Scientists do not know exactly why these genes evolved and were maintained.1

The journal Medical Tribune announced that following research in 1986 it was established that bacteria widespread in the 19th century already carried resistance to antibiotics produced in the 20th century. Although it is a known scientific fact that such resistant characteristics existed in many types of bacteria before the discovery of penicillin, the attribute of resistance in bacteria is still portrayed as an evolutionary development, but this is a claim made solely for deceptive purposes. The extraordinary way that bacteria develop resistance to antibiotics that have yet to be developed is important evidence of the perfection in their creation.

Some of the proofs that the antibiotic resistance of bacteria is not evolution are as follows:

• There are countless varieties within an individual species of bacteria. Some of these possess the genetic information that bestows resistance to certain drugs. When bacteria are exposed to the effect of a particular drug those lacking resistance to it die, while resistant bacteria survive and are more able to multiply.

• After a given period of time, the non-resistant bacteria are completely replaced by these rapidly multiplying resistant bacteria. Soon after, that same species of bacteria becomes a colony consisting uniquely of individuals that are resistant to the antibiotic in question, and that antibiotic is now useless against that species of bacteria.

• But the bacteria are still the same bacteria, the species is still the same species. No evolution has taken place. Bacteria have existed on Earth for 3.5 billion years and are still here as the exact same bacteria. The claim in question is one of Darwinists’ main deceptive techniques.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adnan_Oktar

Adnan Oktar (born Ankara, February 2, 1956), is also known by his pen name, Harun Yahya.

Over the last twenty years Oktar has had several problems with law enforcement. In 1991, Oktar was arrested for possession of cocaine, which he claimed security agents planted in his food.[54] He was later acquitted.[54] In September 1999 Adnan Oktar was arrested following multiple scandals and further allegations that were fully covered by the Turkish media.[69][32] In that court case, Oktar was charged with using threats for personal benefit and creating an organization with the intent to commit a crime.[70] The judicial process lasted over two years, during which most of the complainants retracted their claims, reportedly because of threats or bribes from SRF members. As a result, cases against Oktar and other BAV members were dismissed, with only two members receiving jail sentences for 1 year each.[31][71]

A 2008 indictment from the prosecutor’s office, cited by the daily Cumhuriyet, said Oktar's organisation used its female members to attract young scholars from rich families with the promise of sex in exchange for attending events.[72] The sexual activities were videotaped with the purpose of blackmail, and the group recorded thousands of people in compromising positions.[19] According to the indictment, one of the victims had to sleep with 16 men, which was recorded with hidden cameras and the tapes were given to Oktar.[72] The girls who want to leave the group are threatened that the tapes will be made public.[72]

Amidst ambiguous circumstances, all charges were dropped by that court, only to be picked up by another court eight years later. In 2008 Oktar was convicted of a variety of crimes, including the making of criminal threats.[60][70][73] In May 2008 Oktar and 17 other members of his organisation were sentenced to three years in prison,[70] though a BAV spokeswoman claimed that the judge was pressured by special-interest groups.[70] Oktar also denies the charges and is appealing the verdict.[74][75]

Yeah, yeah, we know all the unbelieving infidels are discredited just because the evolution peddlers say so.

Hey "Kong_" Do you want to help me take a survey? I want to survey all the pedophiles and rapists and murders in prison to see if there might be a -- rare creationist -- there.
I mean after all it is a given that all "NORMAL" people believe in evolution. The prisons are full of evolutionists.

According to the U.S. Department of Justice, Bureau of Justice Statistics, the average prison inmate has only completed 10th grade.

.....um yeah, I'd say that the chances of finding Creationists in prison are quite good. You?

Actually the more educated people tend to have at least 2 things in common: Less likely to be incarcerated,( http://www.dmiblog.com/archives/2007/03/alter... ) and acceptance of the Theory of Evolution( http://people-press.org/report/... ).

No, they're discredited because they themselves can't back up their own claims. Anyone can shout from the hills and say "Evolution is wrong!", but none of them can demonstrate it. Nor can they present a scientific alternative. Not only that, but there arguments are just plain wrong and based on a serious misunderstanding of the science involved. I mean, thermodynamics? Bears giving birth to fish? Srsly?

THAT's why they're discredited.

Twenty years we've been waiting for evidence or research into ID. 150 if you count Creationism. Thousands if you count the fact that those who have issue with reality do so because of their religious beliefs. What evidence do they have? Nada. Zip. Zero. Zilch. Kaput. Sweet f.a. Nowt. Nothing. Not a sausage.

Evolution on the other hand has been enjoying a 150 year research program, studied and used by biologists, doctors and labs all over the world and has valid scientific applications and produces successful results. But people like JRS are so far removed from all that and don't know and don't care what some Liberal atheist elitist God-hating scientists do cuz what effect is that gonna have on him? He doesn't see any of that fancy science stuff in his church.(shrug)
