Some parents and teachers at an Orlando school are asking officials to include the controversial concept of "intelligent design" in the classroom.

Why is Veronica Bryant a teacher when she does not know the fossil record is rich and abundant with evidence that evolution occurred and occurs? Teachers should be tested with basic knowledge before they are allowed to teach--- when teachers like Veronica Bryant are grossly ignorant, that bodes ill for students.

So their options are:

1) Back away from the ridiculous notion that ID has any place in the classroom; or

2) Try to include ID in the school curriculum, get sued, spend lots of school district money, lose badly in court from every possible angle, be the butt of jokes, and be forced to back away from the ridiculous notion that ID has any place in the classroom.

Amazingly, many of the fundies still choose the hard way.
