I would like to respond to the letter 'Recent letter offered no examples of Darwinian disingenuousness,' . He responds to an article with, 'He says evolution is 'so riddled with holes,' yet fails to provide a ...

Thanks for the reference wherein you refer to the Burckle crater, not impact.

Here's your post,

What does your comment indicate is associated with the Burckle Impact?
Do you suppose that a relatively large meteor impact in the Indian Ocean could explain the origin of a (pre?)Sumerian/Semitic "global" flood myth?

The data is out there. I have directed you to it. And here is the post you responded to. It is all factual. None of it is even under question.

Double talk smokescreen.
Translation: I am trapped. I cannot provide data.
Your problems remain KAB. Every large land animal in existence should show a major (NEE) bottleneck 4,500 years ago (more or less).
Yet NONE of the genomes examined so far show one at that time.
So you are at zero percent.
WORSE! Many of these species show CLEAR major bottlenecks that are much older (humans 70k years, for example).
Still worse, some species show older bottlenecks than 4,500 years that were not NEE's, just population draw downs.
AND there is far to much diversity in contemporary humans for there to have been a NEE 4,500 ybp.
Your notion is dead, gave organ and blood donations, embalmed, cremated, and has had it's ashes scattered across the earth.
There is no escape for you.
KAB's only two tactics:

"That's not data!"

and:

"There is no proof that the nonexistent is imaginary!"

If you put the book openly out in public where it can be examined/scrutinized/tested and nothing in it is confirmed incorrect, then it would at least be worth considering as a competitor to the Bible.

If it could do all that it would be superior to the Bible in every respect, not just a competitor.

Multiple alleles and widespread genetic variation. Globally. Throughout the animal kingdom.
BOOM.

How about your "dynamite" that the "Bible is a demonstrated reliable source"?

That makes a second grade arithmetic textbook superior to the Bible.

I wouldn't go so far as to say that. Mohammed claimed to have divine knowledge that the Torah was corrupted. I can make the claim that it is errant, but I draw the line wa-ay before divine knowledge.

I don't have a problem with the Bible (or the Koran) for what it is, I have a problem with the psychotic lunatics who promote what it isn't.

You cannot do post-hoc testing for reliability. Reliability it a function of adherence to methodology and sample size.
And, as methodology and sample size are the two things KAB refuses to flesh out, his "reliability" is nothing more than a baseless assertion.

That was sort of my point. Indirect though it was.

Lets see if the master of prose can pick up on that.

Since he can't seem to pick up on things we state explicitly that might be expecting a bit much.

Where are my editors when I need them.

I told KAB yesterday that the Minimum Viable Population necessary for long term survival of humans was "just over 1000".

The correct number is over 4,000 members (which I have correctly cited in the past).

Normally I make a mistake and you guys are on it like a fly on horseshit.

Really?

In my experience, they don't even bother looking the stuff up. They just deny it.
