And in case no one noticed, I was never serious about the U.S. owning English, oops, I mean American. I only use that line with Chuckles since it drives him nuts. I think he might have had some doubts about his special belief in English when I told him that we got the rights to the language when we bought London Bridge.

I recognized the sardonic nature of that post and other similar ones.

Chuck is funny. He gets stuck on what is simply a misunderstanding on his part as to the definition of 'own'. If he wants to claim that, more than any other one place, modern English evolved in England, then his footing would be more sound.

But that is not what he is saying.

Relative to the nominal pace of evolution? Yes.

Blow by blow of the end of the last ice age from the above link:

25,000 - 15,000 y.a.- full glacial world, cold and dry; Stage 2 (includes the 'Last Glacial Maximum')

(This period includes two 'coldest phases'- Heinrich Events - at around 23,000-21,000 y.a. and at 17,000-14,500 y.a.)

14,500 y.a.- rapid warming and moistening of climates in some areas. Rapid deglaciation begins.

13,500 y.a.- nearly all areas with climates at least as warm and moist as today's

----------
So we went from glacial maximum to today's climate in about a thousand years. Depending on when you count the beginning of that ice age we are looking at a 60,000+ year period that ended in a thousand years.

Lets use one of your silly comparisons. So you are saying if you got in a car and just drove without direction that you would reach your destination or would you end up in a random place?
Evolution is not a car. A more apt comparison is the snowflake.

Yes act like. The best trick a man can pull is to act like a fool. He will be underestimated and have the advantage over any of his adversaries. Yeah I know you evoturds will have something smart to say but I have even gotten you evotards to dis-agree with each other. Pretty simple to do.
The nature of the disagreement matters.

Of course. Here is one:

Please note, the interglacial periods are fairly short. The temperature change going into and coming out of interglacials are marked by rapid temperature change.
Do you even know how to read that? C degree difference from 8 to -8. That converts 17.6F to 42.4F. That is only a 25F degree change in that chart. LMAO

ONLY 25 degrees!?!?!??!?!

Do you have even the faintest conception of what 25 degrees means on a global scale?

No, of course you don't.

Snowflakes are random, that is why two are never the same. Evolution is random.
