Why didn't you mention for the class that the original Hebrew in Jonah 1:17 is the H4578 option, qualifying your other options as a smokescreen to obscure the truth, and why didn't you include H4578's meaning of "inward parts"? Would that not have made your case? So the answer is that the one who is asserting that "belly" at Jonah 1:17 cannot mean "inward parts" would be the liar.

Again, you lie compulsively.

MEAH (may-aw) meaning "intestine, the abdomen, the stomach." is used in verse one, but in verse 2 we find BETEN (beh-ten) meaning "a hollow place."

So we have you lying in 2, not one place. The reference which did not bring up the suggested information and your reassertion of wrong information.

You are apparently unfamiliar with the blueletterbible.org site. First search for Jonah 1:17. Then select the "C" icon in the left margin to get the original language rendering and related info. It's better to await assistance than jump to conclusions. I understand that goes against your present grain. Perhaps we can change that.

Thank you for your confession that your link did not go to any related information.

Would you also admit that there is still nothing there that supports your contention once the above is accomplished?

Or will you continue with your compulsive lying?

Okay, I will walk you through it.
The earth was covered for 190 days. Correct?
(month 2 day 17 to month 7 day 17.
Actually that would be about 150 days, there is another contradiction in the bible here, but I will give you the number more favorable to you.

The mountains were covered by about 22 feet (15 cubits).

4,500 years ago Everest would have been at least 28,129 ft tall.
(based on a generous 2.4 in per year growth rate).

28,129 + 22 = 28,151 ft of water.

Very basic math. Can you follow this so far?

Can you deduce how 200 ft/day is MORE than reasonable and is giving you the best numbers reasonably possible?

I realize you don't do reason, but do try to follow along.

I cite you as data in this case. You have already gone on record indicating you would not do it such that it would produce the results we have. Ergo, QED with data.

You might want to proofread before you post.

It doesn't move into the magic realm until it is confirmed it can't happen thru natural, albeit possibly extraordinary, circumstances. Only speculation, not confirmation, has been provided so far.

Lets do the math, Geppetto. Pay attention, there will be a quiz at the end.

1. The burden of proof is on you.
2. When a fish swallows something said swallowed object goes into the fish's stomach.
3. The burden of proof is on you.
4. Fish digest things rapidly less than 3 days).
5. The burden of proof is on you.

Now for your quiz.

1. Who is the burden of proof on?
2. Can a man survive 3 days of digestive acids?
3. Don't you realize you have missed something vital in the verses which makes all of this elementary?
Hint #1: where was Jonah when he prayed?
Hint #2: verse 6
Hint #3: verse 7, first segment.
Hint #5: In what way is Jonah like Jesus (Hint 5' how does Jesus reference Jonah?)

You may need a real bible for this exercise.

This makes it appear that the the correct translation is bowels or belly

translation count:
"AV bowels 27, belly 3, heart 1, womb 1"

The one instance it was translated "womb" is in reference to Ruth becoming pregnant (belly)

Nor is the word "heart" any help to your case.

Yes, I can do math, and I get more in the ballpark of 20 ft/day.

That is because your are igornut.

Now show the results for the use of "belly" in Jonah 1:17 from your reference.

Belly = bowels or belly.

We win again no matter how you try to rig the recount.

What is it about you that won't allow you to acknowledge that I am correct? The data has been provided and acknowledged. All that remains is to acknowledge the conclusion, confirmed by the data, that I am correct. Dr. D could probably even tell you it would be cathartic for you to do so.

I think Mike needs to relax and enjoy the show the clown is putting on.

Tell us again that you are correct. That was funny.

Why are you not giving your reference for "intestine, the abdomen, the stomach."? Does it not exist, or is there something more there you don't want us all to see? I'm not like that. Why is that do you think? As to Jonah 2:2, "a hollow place" works for me.

You gave the reference. Why do I need to give you YOUR reference?

Are you retarded?

And what is the largest hollow place in a fish?

https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/common...

Please show me the largest hollow place connected to the mouth. Unless you think he was "swallowed" through his gill or rectum.

Check Genesis 8:13,14. It was approximately one year before the waters were drained back to near normal sea level.
