Bigotry is always a bad idea. Letting your wife die is a very bad idea.
Your opinion does reinforce my belief that there is more wrong with you than just your funny (er...fundy) religious views.
Mrs Marky: "Now hold on there a minute, bozo! I'm not going to die because you've got some stupid problem with the doctor's lack of belief. Now shut the hell up, go sit down and LET HIM FIX ME!!!"

To the contrary, the Bible is key to establishing God's existence and defining God's thinking/qualities/character. By starting with the Bible, one can arrive at God. So God's existence becomes central to truth based and truth driven religion.

As much as I like disagreeing with you, you are mostly correct about the above. The bible is not the truth itself but merely a launching pad to get to that truth, which cannot be contained in human words.

But, in point of fact, there are no truth based Christian religions anymore. The last real Christian probably died 1500 years ago.

Bible researchers are learning more and more about the truth behind the texts of the bible. maybe someday we will be able to claim that original Christianity. The Christianity we know today are heirs of the one that killed off the original Christianity and the beliefs of Jesus and his direct followers. Pauline cults are all that remain.

Peeter!

He gets 3 out of 5 stars on lifescript. That is pretty bad. Anothe site he did better, but it only had 4 ratings.

What is coming? Your micro-god? He better be careful as he can't even create evolution. He might get stepped on.

Why not choose a god so powerful that he can create a universe that creates life? Now that is power!

I have to agree.

I bet that marksmans perceptions about the Dr. are not a reflection of reality, however. When was the last time marksman was right about anything?

I see you remain logically clueless in Seattle. I know you won't take any direction from me, but you might want to ask someone you trust what's wrong with your reasoning here.

Actually, I though it a good analogy.

maybe you just don't want to see it.

What was under consideration is only two verses from that account. Why is it you don't want to pursue your position on those two verses. It's easy to see that it doesn't lead where you want it to. Of course, you can always get back on point and attempt to prove otherwise, but then you've already had that opportunity and chose a course of avoidance.

Your position did not hold up. Case closed for those of us in touch with reality.

I agree. I'm sure the good doctor would be horrified to know how Marky is portraying him here.

With your dataless rant response, you rest my case.

You case stands as refuted unless you find some new support of it.

The burden of data is upon you.

We will wait.

Did you miss the lessons on demonstrated reliable source? If so, the Guy may be able to bring you up to speed. I recommend caution tho since he's not a demonstrated reliable source. Quite the contrary, he has proven to be an unreliable source, but perhaps you still trust him.

I vaguely remember you demonstrating that the bible was not a reliable source, but I don't think that had been your original contention.

Anyone can provide an ever lengthening list of assertions. What's tough tho is providing confirming data for them. In the limit it becomes impossible when there is none. Please don't forget that I've exposed deficiencies in all of what little purported confirming data has been offered, but if you repeat any of those offerings, I won't mind exposing them again to refresh your memory. One of my favorites is Pi=3!

Please don't forget you are a known and confirmed liar and member of a mind control cult. Oh, and you lost the pi=3 debate. You have never refuted anything and I can refute your data (all of it) with the period at the end of this sentence.

It is done.

You HAVE proved you can say whatever you want on the internet and no one can stop you, no matter how crazy or data deprived. the one thing we cannot refute is your delusions, of which you have many.

I wouldn't give a crap what a doctor's beliefs were - even if they were your nutcase flavor - if they could save a life.
That is because all you have to trust in is another human.

Nothing. I just thought I'd let you reseach that if you want. He is a musician also and plays in his church. He and doctor Silver pray with their patients before surgery if they are believers.

Do you actually think your doctor is going to tic off his list of specialist referrals:
Dr. Rosencratz: good, nix - Jewish
Dr. Assad: good, nix - Muslim
Dr. Holahan: good, nix - idol worshiping Catholic
Dr. Oliver: good, nix - doesn't pray before eating
"Sorry, Mr. Man11, we'll have to send your wife to Dr. Dingleberry. He's killed 8 patients so far this year, but I see him in church and he really needs the money for his lawsuits."
You cannot know who your doctor would recommend in such a case, so you are presumptuously and prescriptively placing words in his mouth - just like you do with whatever model, version and edition of God you've settled on.
You know nothing. If he deems another doctor is needed, I will make the decision on who it will be. I don't care what their religion is as long as they are not an atheist. Atheists are like you guys, and IMHO they lack wisdom and are not rational thinkers.
