Let me start with "devolve". To evolve is to change gradually over time constantly adapting to a changing environment. Evolution has no goal, therefore "devolve" has not real meaning. The close cousin to "devolve" is "more evolved". No animal is more or less evolved. We have all evolved the same number of years and we have all adapted to our environment equally well. Yes, a squid would not do particularly well in calculus class (but perhaps still better than the bottom 10%)and besides would asphyxiate rather quickly. On the other hand I would drown and be eaten rather quickly 3 m deep in a coral reef. I can speak 2 languages but I can't exude silk from any part of my body, fly or navigate with sonar. Every organism is exceedingly adapted (therefore evolved) for it's environment... or they die out.

I think censoring ideas and words should not be tolerated.
We can't know absolutely if those words or ideas will have validity in the future.
Only 40 years ago plate tectonics was considered a crazy idea invented by an amateur in the 1800's that looked at the continents and claimed the matching coastlines could not be a coincidence.
Just as I find HSS OOA to be fatally flawed for the purpose of funding and political expediency.
SS HSS has Heidelbergensis admixture
WNSS HSS has Neanderthal admixture and
ENSS HHS speculates Denisova admixture.
This destroys the post Tambora Eve common ancestor hypothesis.
Post Tambora Eve requires Heidelbergensis, Neanderthal, Denisova rape mating where as HSS did not reciprocate and mate with other human species, preposterous.
