<quoted text>I quite disagree.

The use of a dictionary is most helpful. In addition to using a dictionary, use of a lexicon and an english grammar primer would help most posters on this thread.
See it was not the book of their choosing that was the real issue.

Any book or document that does not support their believe us written off as no good.

<quoted text>Most Buddhists are atheists, there are several other religions that are as well. Atheism is a description of one aspect, and it is a "lack of" descriptive. You can attempt to change that all you want, it won't change what it is, and still doesn't change the important fact that you have no evidence of your god.
"You can attempt to change that all you want, it won't change what it is,"

Ditto!

You're a perfect example of an Atheist that DOES believe there is no God.

Not an atheist that has an absence of all believe.

Merriam-Webster
athe·ist\ˈā-thē-ist\
noun
: one who believes that there is no deity

Point proven yet again and again!

Atheist you can't live with them and you're not allowed to kill them. Oh well.

<quoted text>As far as i understood 'a god' has worked all it's life to reach nullification/nirvana. Now some worshippers come along and start throwing tow lines. They pray a bit harder, untill the god is anchored firmly back where it tried to escape from in the first place!
So makes no sense.
That's because your statement is all made up by you!

Yes I do!
For you that would mean supporting atheism.

For me that would mean a neutral source like the Merriam-Webster Dictionary.

"athe·ist\ˈā-thē-ist\
noun
: one who believes that there is no deity
athe·is·tic \ˌā-thē-ˈis-tik\ or athe·is·ti·cal \ˌā-thē-ˈis-ti-kəl\ adjective
athe·is·ti·cal·ly \-ti-k(ə-)lē\ adverb"

Your notion here still requires evolution.
I'm thinking of that discussion with shubee, where it also came up.
basicly it's a rephrasing of Darwins one.
As in shortterm denoting health, reproductive prowess.
And longterm would mean passing this on to future generations.
Both the best adaptation to the environment.
ex.Plants/animals fight with poisons/fangs or start symbiotic relationships to take the best advantage of the environment.
So it would also take epi-genetic changes into account.

So a bit puzzled as to what i might still be missing in
the definition.
But it will be for tomorrow.

Good night.

What term would you use for someone who doesn't believe that there is a God (or any gods), but does not believe that there are no gods?

Wow, you haven't read anything I have posted on the subject. I do not believe that any of your specific gods exist, because there is no evidence supporting them. If there is a god, we don't know, and neither do you, we're just honest enough to say we don't know and you have to make up lies to justify your delusion.

That would be agnostic:

ag·nos·tic\ag-ˈnäs-tik,əg -\
noun
1 : a person who holds the view that any ultimate reality (as God) is unknown and probably unknowable; broadly : one who is not committed to believing in either the existence or the nonexistence of God or a god
2 : a person who is unwilling to commit to an opinion about something <political agnostics>
