"Unseen" means only that photons go through but are not reflected by the constituent molecules. A perfectly clean and transparent window is clearly matter (it is made out of glass, which is made out of various molecules), yet it can be unseen. It is quite real. You can touch it, because its molecules interact with the molecules of your fingers. You can strike it and hear the sound it produces.

Now, you have yet to show any evidence that your god can be heard if struck, or that your god can be touched. Therefore, what evidence do you have that your god is "real"?

<quoted text>You are actualy claiming the O2 is invisible like God. How can the unseen be real and matter/materialistic? You are right that the unseen gas cannot transform into matter; it's still a gas.
Hold on. You're saying that oxygen, which is invisible, is not matter? Does oxygen have mass? Can oxygen be converted to a solid or liquid?

Do you think that water is only matter when it's ice or liquid? Do you think that water vapor in the air is NOT matter?

Seriously, if this is the level of your scientific understanding, then you are entirely unqualified to say anything about biology, chemistry, physics, or anything related to how the world and the universe work.

Oh yes. I-F could well be his much smarter older brother. But the similarities are striking.

For sure. Their styles differ slightly, but each has an astonishing ability to embrace baseless inanities and mangle our language.

You're the one claiming that human beings were made in the image of "God", and that it doesn't mean that humans look identical to "God". So what are the points of similarity?
<quoted text>
what does it matter? the similarities between you and God are the same similaritiesw between you and me. some things are the same some are different. thats like saying someone with blue eyes isn't human because I know I have brown eyes and I know I am human. quit asking loaded questions.

You get the idea.
thats the exact same thing as saying the universe has always been here. It had to start from nothing somehow.

You could take it as a compliment. After all, all an atheist is, and has ever been, is a human who is adult enough to completely do away with fairy tales and boogeymen.
I like fairy tales and boogey men. They keep things interesting.
Like having your significant other dress up like an angel and you get to play angry God or horny devil.
That and the idea of an invisible being following one around watching their every move ..... well , that being watched feeling inst always bad.

So, are you telling me that if we leave 12 houses in a field, by themselves, with no human intervention of any kind, that over time there will end up being more than 12 houses in that field? And the same with cars and toys? Is that REALLY your argument?
that sounds like the argument for evolution. put 12 species in a field & in time there will be 24 species.

Agreed, it had to start somehow. How is the question. We have evidence for the universe existing because here we are. As to how it starts, rather than baselessly assert "Goddidit", a more honest answer would be: "We don't know - yet."

Except the difference is, that houses, cars and toys do not naturally reproduce. Life does. And when it does, each new life is just a little bit different.

another difference is that when you leave 12 houses in a field they will naturally decay & fall apart. I think we can all agree on that. ToE supporters belive that before life existed inanimate objects (rocks, water, etc.) came together & formed an environment which could support life. that sounds just as ridiculous (even more IMO) as 12 houses turning themselves into 24.
