So you taunt people, in Jesus' name, no less -- taunt them with how ignorant and dishonest you are -- them when they react and call you what you really are, you piously bow your head and humbly accept the opprobrium as a sign of what a good Christian you are.

Why are so-called athesists so militant against Christianity but neutral with other religions of the same size?
Because in America, it is virtually EXCLUSIVELY fundamentalist Christian Protestants who attack atheism and attack the science behind evolution and an old earth as a part of their agenda to convert everyone eventually to their literal Bible theology.

"Other religions" are not involved in tis process, so are left alone.

The science around the evolution of life has evolved WAY past Darwin in the last 100 years, but nothing we have found so far CONTRADICTS the basic principles that Darwin uncovered and synthesized.

Darwin was RIGHT, more right than he could ever have known.

"Was Darwin Wrong?"
The work of the 19th-century English naturalist shocked society and revolutionized science. How well has it withstood the test of time?

The only pooled ignorance is that of creatards. That is why they hate peer review. Peer review makes the errors of creatards obvious.

So one more time, where is the peer review that backs up this supposed physicists finds. If he is a real PhD he is familiar with peer review and by avoiding it he would be showing that he knows he is wrong.

Challenging scientifically-gained knowledge is perfectly legitimate, wheteher it is motivated by religion or not.

I don't see people being coerced or forced into a religous belief. This isn't Saudi Arabia. Is it Danny?

But I do see the most maleable being coerced into accepting an unproven theory via forced government "education." What about the rights of the religious?

So you still have nothing.

Creatard.com openly admits that they are not science based so why link to such a pathetic source?

Using refuted, outdated religious hockum as "evidence" is not science. Send your kid to a fundie xian school if you want them to learn all about your god creating the universe and all life.

Look around you. There are PLENTY of examples in our legal system where people are not held accountable for breaking the law: mental illness, extreme youth, mental retardation, or other INABILITY TO UNDERSTAND THE CONSEQUENCES OF BEHAVIOR.
And this, of course, is EXACTLY what we see in your silly, Bronze Age Bible myth of Genesis: A&E were children psychologically and morally, They did not yet understand what right and wrong is. Is was only after they ate of the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil that they understood that they had "sinned."
And yet your asshole God not only STILL held them responsible, but also passed the consequences on to billions and billions of subsequent human beings who had NOTHING TO DO with A&E's supposed "sin."
The truth is the biggest sting in a rebuke. In Lev 18:22-25 it plainly states homosexuals are an abomination in God's sight. You can call me anything you choose, it does not change the truth. What the law of man permits and what the law of God permits are 2 totally different things. You call me the enemy because I tell you the truth?? It thus appears, sometimes God's truth hurts...best if you accept that.

I did some Google searching on Dr.John Hartnett and he is a real physicist who believes this nonsense.

He has many published papers, and yet I can find no published papers on his beliefs that he is putting forth in his videos.

He knows that he can write passable peer reviewed science.

Why hasn't he written a peer reviewed paper on how the Big Bang is wrong?

again, the question was, how is homosexuality immoral?
IF you are as smart as you claim, read 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 it gives a list of people who engage in certain behaviors that WILL NOT enter heaven. Homosexuals are listed among those folks. Seems you would be able to put 2 and 2 together, if not. I cannot help you understand that one.

NOW PLAYING ..

Many Christians believe that God may have used evolutionary processes to create. This episode summarizes some of the serious problems that arise in trying to fit evolution with Genesis that even atheists can see. Although evolution does fit with many religions (atheism, for example) it cannot be made to fit with Christianity .. http://creation.com/creation-station

Bullshit. Science must be refuted by science, in a public school SCIENCE class. In your churches, you can say whatever you want -- and you DO.

But in science classes, science will be taught.

And you can really and intelligently claim that "Our Bible, the peculiar way we've been taught to read it, i.e. as literal history -- says that the earth is 6000 years old and there were two distinct first humans, therefore all of modern science is WRONG" is a "perfectly legitimate" way to argue in the 21st century? LOL!
Say the Truth wrote:

When school boards are taken over by stealth fundamentalist Christian canididates who then proceed to push "creationism" in public school SCIENCE classrooms (until the courts, inevitably, step in and slap them down GOOD), then religion -- one particular religion, in fact -- IS being pushed on people in our public schools, in direct violation of the 1st Amendment as 200 years of American courts have interpreted it.

It would eventually be, if we didn't act now, as intelligent, educated people are doing, to SLAP DOWN these craven jesus Freaks before things go too far.
Say the Truth wrote:

You need to get a science education before you go any further.

Scientific theories are never "proven" like mathematical theorems, etc.

Science gathers evidence FOR a theory or detailed explanation of a large set of facts and observations. Then other scientists try to DISprove it, if they can. If they cannot, that "theory" or explanation stands until someone CAN DISprove it. No scientific theory is ever "proven" 100%,

However, that said, there is NO CONTROVERSY in the world of science as to whether evolution has occurred and continues to happen. NONE. There is always going to be continuing discussion about the various MECHANISMS of that evolution, but NO CONTROVERSY that it happens.

So evolution is what is taught in PS SCIENCE classes -- and not every crackpot myth of religious nonsense that this or that segment of the population may have been taught in their churches, etc.
