British Museum: Prototype for Noah's Ark was round.

A recently deciphered 4,000-year-old tablet from ancient Mesopotamia — modern-day Iraq —reveals striking new details about the roots of the Old Testament tale of Noah. It tells a similar story, complete with detailed instructions for building a giant round vessel known as a coracle — as well as the key instruction that animals should enter "two by two."

You didn't understand. you own article. It only says that the Jews got their myth from the Babylonians. It does not say anything about the myth being real.

Not only that, the ROUND boat described by that artifact is totally different from Noah's Ark:

Genesis 6:15 - And this [is the fashion] which thou shalt make it [of]: The length of the ark [shall be] three hundred cubits, the breadth of it fifty cubits, and the height of it thirty cubits.

The ark was just a compartmentalized container and God himself shut it. Then God remembered Noah and Noah opened a window and sent out birds. A covering was removed when the ark had rested on dry earth. God then spoke and said for Noah and his family to go out of the ark and bring every living thing out. The point is that God protected the ark and in Genesis 7:17&18 the ark rose high above the earth and it moved about on the surface of the waters. The craft and covering itself may have been something more advanced than just a simple wooden ark. Just sayin.

An ark is defined as a compartmentalized container. All living things were stored and the way they were kept is not elaborated upon. The word 'remembered' was used in the account of the great event after it was over. The way these living things were brought back may have been a method we do not know of yet. I have my reasons for knowing the Bible is true and it doesn't scare me to hear people like you call me an idiot. I am a free thinker and I keep an open mind about how these things could have happened

Ark's not sunk? Very true. Kinda hard to sink a ship that never existed.

I will not go so far as to say the craft could have been some sort of advanced space craft, but I have heard that hypothesis before.

It all makes a lot of sense to me. I know the basic makeup of mankind was changed after the great flood, because before that event mankind was said to have long lives of hundreds of years.

No....that too is a myth.

There has NEVER been any evidence of people living hundreds of years. In fact, most people of antiquity had considerably SHORTER lifespans than we currently enjoy.

But you are basing this on people after the flood. Any evidence would have long been lost of Noah's remains or the people before the flood.

Maybe the coral was partially devoured by the penguins on their trip across the oceans and that they held it in their feces during the storm after which dumping it back into the ocean. Maybe the coral created a forcefield with an artificial habitat inside so they could survive for a year. Maybe...maybe...maybe. Without any evidence maybe is completely meaningless and could be used for anything one can imagine.

No evididence of any world-wide flood. Considerable evidence of the LACK of any such calamity ever occurring in the past several million years.

The birds were used to help reseed the earth according to scripture. How everything was kept before that was not elaborated upon.
