wow1 nice fantasy...

yet several scientists came up with identical theories independently from the observable evidence in the real world. this is where evolution came from...the real world and its verifiable facts.

nice try though..(well, actually no it wasn't, it was lame and totally disregarded the facts in the case...)

Anne was 10 when she died, not a newborn.

And Darwin had already refined and crystalized his theory of evolution by the late 1830s and early-to-mid 1840s, so the idea of evolution could hardly have been a response to his daughter's death.

Quotes

In 1851 Darwin was devastated when his daughter Annie died. By then his faith in Christianity had dwindled, and he had stopped going to church.

Darwin remained close friends with the vicar of Downe, John Innes, and continued to play a leading part in the parish work of the church,[162] but from around 1849 would go for a walk on Sundays while his family attended church.[157] He considered it "absurd to doubt that a man might be an ardent theist and an evolutionist"[163][164] and, though reticent about his religious views, in 1879 he wrote that "I have never been an atheist in the sense of denying the existence of a God.– I think that generally ... an agnostic would be the most correct description of my state of mind."[86][163]

By the way, are you ready to apologise for your lies yet?
<quoted text>
You're lying. His issues with theology were no different to that of other Christians who sometimes find it difficult to reconcile the harshness of reality with a "loving God". The theory of evolution however is not atheism, and makes no theological claims. It was a conclusion he came to separately due to the evidence. And if God was responsible for evolution, then so be it. And if God was not responsible, then it made no difference.
Evolution happened, God or no God. Or God is a liar.
I'm open to all three possibilities.
Funny how psychopaths are outed for lying as a basic technique so they call others liars. Typical psychopathic behavior. What else could one expect from an atheist?

Are you blind or just a liar? I was talking about Mary Eleanor Darwin (23 September 1842 – 16 October 1842). Go back to your link and look at the look at the box on the right that is titled Darwin's Children. Look at the third child down. Maybe you should actually read the links you post so you have an idea what you are talking about.

You are correct on a small minutia point, but wrong on everything else, as pointed out.

Even if his newborn daughter died in 1842, he had already taken the voyage on the Beagle (1837) and seen and marveled at evolution in action.

And it was the death of his 10-year-old that started him on the path away form your crude, ignorant Jesus Freak-ism and toward the agnosticism in which he died.

did you forget about the other scientists that came up with the same results as Darwin from other parts of the world because that is what the evidence shows?

seems your whole manufactured story is just pure bullshit...

You really are laying on the lies with this one.

His daughter Anne died in 1851 at the age of 10, by which point he had already stopped going to church and had been working on the ToE for at least a decade. The first notes that indicate that he was thinking about species evolving go back to 1837.

He is trying to claim that it was another daughter that changed Darwin's mind, he had two that died, even though all the biographers say that it was the death of Anne that upset him greatly.

I have nothing against Duck and think the critics, and his own producers, are hypocrites. He has a perfect right to voice his opinions on a TV show that is about him and his family and their values. I do not have to agree with his values to condemn their censorship by liberals who defend other liberals saying much worse.

You on the other hand are a known and demonstrated liar as anyone can establish merely by looking at your posts about Einstein and your refusal to retract your false claims.

Grown-ups look for evidence in claims. People like you with the IQ of a three year old think "sticks and stones will break their bones" but you have offered no facts to back up your claims.

Funny how you have yet to come up with a single "atheist lie" to back your claims.

On the other hand, your own posts on topix already show that you are an unrepentant liar.
