First of all, no one is claiming that Darwin is an Atheist. Nor does anyone claim that Darwin didn't believe in a "Creator" who made the Universe. That, however, is NOT "Creationism".

Second, you are TRYING to refer to a lie that was made up by Creationists who claim that Darwin's maid overheard Darwin recant on his death bed.

Two BIG problems here:
#1) Never actually happened.
#2) Even if it did happen, it wouldn't MATTER. If I tell you that a BLT contains Bacon Lettuce and Tomato, then on my deathbed I recant that - does that mean that a BLT doesn't contain those things?

"Expelled" is a badly made propaganda film full of lies and misinformation. No evidence is presented in the film about any of the claims made. It is so badly made, and its efforts at lying are so apparent that only fools will think of that film as carrying any legitimacy.
Your ignorance of science and scientists are also apparent in your reply. First of all, science has no position on the issue of God. Science is neutral with respect to God. Secondly, there are theists as well as atheists among scientists. Thirdly, what matters is whether the scientists are using the scientific method when doing science. Their personal opinions on God, religion, politics,etc. don't matter.
Most importantly, theories are the ultimate in science. Theories make sense of the facts. Theories are supported by facts. Read upon what a scientific theory is before you make foolish statements.
I asked a question - give me evidence of anyone who was a scientist and believed in evolution, and later on started believing in creationism.

I was raised Presbyterian, and for the first 18 years of my life, I did church, Sunday School, sang in the choir(s), vacation bible school, youth group, yadda, yadda, yadda.

The more I read from and learned about the Bible, the more I arrived at the conclusion that it is anything BUT an inerrant book 'devinely inspired by God'.

Christianity, the Bible and all CAN BE fine tools for teaching life lessons, but it is NOT a science, or history book.

And if there IS a 'Supreme Deity' out there, it is most CERTAINLY not the cartoon version as depicted in the Bible.
