DA, I'm curious. In the Athiest threads your English is perfect at times, as good as a native speaker(which I suspect you may be). However, here on the evolution threads you always pretend to have bad grammar.
Why?
Just curious.
At least he is consistent in his inconsistency. Maybe one is human and one is a chimp. Bipoler? Drug addled? Who knows?

Cool tandem you got there. What is it? I'm a big Cannondale fan. I started cycling seriously in 1982 when I could no longer run long distances.

It's a 1951 Schwinn converted from Ma & Pa to 1970's. I just brazed all the cable stops, shift bosses, H2O mounts, etc. to bring it up to late eighties. Put a final coat of dark grey metallic on it about 2 hours ago. It's chrome-moly and should come in at about 35 pounds.

That's my sister and I at the corner of Haight and Ashbury at the start of a trip from San Francisco to Seattle this September.
Problem is that the Pacific coast is either straight up or straight down so we turned around after three days and took the train.

Sounds like a project I would of worked on. Very cool and only 35lbs for a tandem!

As for your trip from the Haight (why does Haight and trip seem to end up in the same sentence a lot?), I can see that as one I would of been up for also. But, being from central Texas I have fewer hill for climbing training. I used to race and of course hills were my weakness.

Being from Austin and racing in the 80's I have a photo of me leading Lance Armstrong in a criterium. Of course I'm about 30 at the time and he is 16 years old. And what the picture doesn't show is he is actually blowing by me. lol

A little weed would have got us closer to Seattle but success was just not meant to be.

I left the frame in a closet with a space heater overnight so now all it needs is some graphics, a clear coat, and another night in the closet.

I raced from 1978 to 1981. Never could figure out why I never won anything until later when handfull went on to be national champs in various specialties.

Lol. Yeah, a little weed always gets me a little closer to Seattle.

My racing carear was very similar. I never even placed 3rd. But I sure had fun.

Ooh, I just thought... for the graphics were you able to get any vintage schwinn decals? That would be muy cool.

No. No. No.'Hot Burrito' is the obvious choice. I have a Schwinn head badge but my sister would be quite concerned if I replaced Saint Christopher.

Anyway, I just clearcoated the underside and am going to do the top right now. I'll apply the graphics later and clearcoat them as needed.

Yes, good choice.

In the 80's I always wanted a Schwinn Paramount frame and build it up with campy components. Mavic rims etc...

I just checked and they still make the frame... maybe one day.

Obviously we did not evolve from monkeys. If so then why are monkeys still here. Why haven't those monkeys evolved into humans. Doesn't evolution mean evolving into a greater form. Everyone knows that humans are not the greatest because we make many mistakes and technology in comparison to the time of Christopher Columbus has increased greatly but when looking at movies such as terminator, back to the future, and the time machine our technology is not that advanced. If evolution was real in any way humans by now would become cyborgs. Time travel and teleportation would be possible. So obviously all of this bull crap about evolution is untrue and those of you who believe it had better look at logic rather than what all of these no good idiot scientists are saying. I believe they are stupid and want so much money they will make up crap to get it. Those of you who look at them and believe every word they say I highly suggest you actually analyze and think about what it is they say. Use your God given brain and think.

Right, and we know that Americans obviously are not descended from Europeans because there are still Europeans. Who would want to live in such a craphole when they could be living in the south side of Chicago, or eastern L.A.?

Oh course we descended from monkeys. Many people are born with tails and others are covered with fur. The ears, just look at the ears! What more proof do you need?

You need the letters Il at the front of your name.
