There are 28 comments on the Science, Industry and Business story from Apr 15, 2013, titled Study proposes alternative way to explain life's complexity. In it, Science, Industry and Business reports that:

Evolution skeptics argue that some biological structures, like the brain or the eye, are simply too complex for natural selection to explain.

This is just mankind's vanity and pride. He cannot accept that he isn't the top dog in the universe - always trying to find an "answer" that will explain away God and His Word.

When will mankind learn. Sigh.

Oh, I do so hope the alternative explanation has something to do with magic and Bronze Age Middle Eastern fairy tales. What are the odds?

WTF does vanity and pride have to do with science? Science is just learning about the natural universe and trying to understand it! It doesn't even question whether a deity exists or not since that would involve the supernatural which we don't have access to! Seriously, these stupid little posts by people who just repeat something their preacher said or their favorite right wing website posted is really just getting annoying. You guys aren't even trying anymore. You run in, say something that makes you look like an idiot and then run off into merry ignorant pasture thinking you accomplished something. You certainly did, but it wasn't the result you were expecting.

I think I'm in a pissy mood today. >8(

If scientist's are so advanced with Evo and have supposedly proven all of this Evo malarky, then why wouldn't they already know how our brain or eye was made?

Because even brain surgeons still don't understand how the brain works...plus many times after brain surgery, the person is never the same, and the surgeon has no idea how to fix the problem.

How could a brain just happen to form itself, and turn out knowing it has a soul, mind and spirit?

It can't and it never has just evolved into what we have in humans today.

We know how the eye evolved. What makes you think that is so difficult? The brain is no more difficult. We may not know how the brain works, but we do know how it evolved.

And what is your evidence of some sort of soul?

I don't believe you know how the eye is formed nor the brain. You guys just have to continue to "pretend" to know supposedly new and exciting things, in an effort to keep up your "we are all apes" bologna.

The soul is self evident.

You can not believe all that you want. You will still be wrong.

Now here is a clue when you doubt us. Do a Google search for your question first, that way you will not look like a gigantic fool. Go on, Google search "Evolution of the eye" and see what you find.

Already have googled your false evolution bologna. Looks like the Evo's had to come up with 'something'...anything... to counter the questions about complex parts of the human body. They still DON'T know!!!

They're still doing the guessing game dance, as usual.

I just can't believe that a group of Evo people, with so much pride and arrogance, would say or do 'anything' to prove they were evolved from apes and would fight to their last breath to say that humans are nothing more than animals.

Craziest thing I've ever heard.

What false information are you talking about? We know how it was done, it is not that hard of a question. There is no guessing involved since we can see the steps to sight in animals alive today.

So were you born an idiot or did you have to practice?

Bull. You didn't read anything. If so, produce a sample and discuss instead of just saying nuh uh!

No you haven't. Not that it would make any difference if you did since you already said no evidence will ever be good enough because all you are is a liar for Jesus.

As opposed to the sane humility of thinking the entire universe was created especially for you so you could spend eternity in paradise?

In the meantime the evidence for humans evolving from previous apes is indisputable.

We know this because the only thing you have to "dispute" the evidence with is invisible Jewmagic from an all powerful universe creating creator which is too wussy to even beat a worldwide evolutionist conspiracy who are brilliant at hiding all the evidence for YOUR side.

No brain on Earth knows that it has anything resembling a "soul" or "spirit".

And judging by your own cognitive ability I'd say mind is not a factor in your case either.

Nelson admitted his model was made with deliberate small steps, and he "ASSUMES" that mutations caused changes.

Dawkins admits that each step of the evolution of the eye, is "RANDOM LUCK" and that it must be that or it would have to be proven to be a miracle.

Please learn how to quote properly. Quoting out of context is a technique that creationists use to lie.

Without a proper source we cannot show how you are misquoting.

By the way, random steps in a process does not necessarily mean that the result is "by luck".

Times when you got these quotes would have been appropriate in this case.

I am trying to see how Nelson made the claim you said that he does.

As to random changes, there will always be random changes in a genome. That is an observed fact. Natural selection is not random and since each improvement, no matter how slight, increased survivability they would naturally be selected for.

Okay, I am relistening to the video I linked and at about 8:40 Dawkins starts to describe Nelson's experiment. He does shorten it a bit since this is for a basic audience. You do understand that advantageous changes will be preserved, don't you? That has always be considered rather self-evident in evolution. On Nelson "assuming that mutations provide changes". There is no assuming about it. You have roughly 100 mutations in your genome alone. Mutations that change the shape of the eye will be kept if they aid the creature and be dropped (well the cold hard truth is that bad mutations lead to less successful breeding. For example, dying before you can breed is very unsuccessful breeding). Those are some basic concepts that have been proven so many times that evolutionists often forget to mention them to newbies. What Nelson shows is that taking the laws of evolution into account it takes very little time for an eye to evolve.
