I am amazed that the viewing "on the big screen" at The Cinema Paradiso (Home of The Ft. Lauderdale International Film Festival) on Tuesday morning (beginning at 10:30 as I understand it) wasn't listed. Where are all of the Broward Cty. Democrats? Are all 141 of them on their way to D.C.? I'm ashamed that Broward County isn't celebrating the most important inauguration in our lifetime!!

What makes this the most important inauguration in our lifetime? I thought the fact that he was black was not of importance - at least that's what we were told during the election.

The Hollywood Democratic club is celebrating at a luncheon, also the Broward County Democratic organization is celebrating later Tuesday night.
Thank God the nightmare of eight years under 'Alfred E. Bush' is nearly over.

In my mind this is not imporatant because of his ethnicity. It is however monumental because of all the odds against him and money that was put against his getting a second term. At least in my humble opinion it is that with all that his values are still what most of us want.
