Veterans Launch National Education Effort on Illegal Immigration

There are 51 comments on the www.legion.org story from Apr 28, 2008, titled Veterans Launch National Education Effort on Illegal Immigration. In it, www.legion.org reports that:

Crime, terrorism and dependency on scarce government dollars are some of the major reasons why the nation's largest veterans organization is concerned about illegal immigration. So concerned, in fact, that The American Legion today began a nationwide outreach to alert Americans to the dangers posed by illegal aliens and the government’s reluctance to seriously address the issue.

“With more than 14,000 posts and 2.7 million members, I am asking Legionnaires everywhere to start the national dialogue that needs to happen now,” Conatser said.“As a nation at war with operatives sworn to kill Americans, our government must shut down our open borders and take decisive action to address a crippling national problem.”

I've just forwarded the entire story to everyone I know who's against illegal immigrants, including every Veteran. This is one of the best things, I can remember. Let our Vet's voices be heard! I suggest you e-mail the story to every e-mail address you have in our military to let them know we appreciate their service in protecing our country, while the Veterans try to stop the invasion of our country! God Bless America and God Bless Our Veterans.

We in NE have a Nebraska Taxpayers For Freedom group. I've e-mailed it to the office. Hopefully he'll forward it to all members! What about the Senators, etc? I'll give it a try! If it won't go through, they all have mail service!

A great start....the Vetrans in this nation that are owed a debt of gratitude should be calling on McCain and tell him that just because he is a former POW that doesn't mean he automaticaly has the Vetrans support...he must earn it by being on the right side of ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION...NO AMNESTY

Social Security Agreement with Mexico Released After 3-1/2 Year Freedom of Information Act Battle

Illegal Mexican Workers Could Receive Billions of Dollars from U.S. Social Security System

January 4, 2007 (Washington, DC)– After numerous refusals over three and a half years, the Social Security Administration (SSA) has released the first known public copy of the U.S.-Mexico Social Security Totalization Agreement. The government made the disclosure in response to lawsuits filed under the Freedom of Information Act by TREA Senior Citizens League, a 1.2 million member nonpartisan seniors advocacy group.

The Totalization Agreement could allow millions of illegal Mexican workers to draw billions of dollars from the U.S. Social Security Trust Fund.

A loophole in current Social Security law could allow millions of today's Mexican workers to eventually collect billions of dollars worth of Social Security benefits for earnings under fraudulent or "non-work authorized" Social Security numbers, putting huge new pressures on the Social Security Trust Fund.

If an illegal worker working in the United States today gets a "work authorized" Social Security number through guest worker immigration legislation, the Totalization Agreement, or perhaps just over time, that worker could eventually apply for Social Security benefits once he or she has met eligibility requirements.

In addition, that worker could be able to claim credits for work performed while in the U.S. illegally. The SSA maintains an "earnings suspense file," which tracks wages that cannot be posted to individual workers' records because there is no match for a name and Social Security number. Once an immigrant gains access to a work authorized Social Security number – whether a legal citizen or not – wages earned while in the U.S. unlawfully could be reinstated to the worker's new Social Security account.

The Congressional Research Service reports the earnings suspense file currently stands at approximately $520 billion. According to the congressional testimony of SSA Inspector General Patrick P. O'Carroll in February 2006, "We believe the chief cause of wage items being posted to the earnings suspense file instead of an individual's earning record is unauthorized work by non citizens."

Clinton's constant request for debates? I'd love to see one in which all candidates had a "true" debate on nothing but immigration. No news anchors, no predetermined questions, no B.S.! They tap dance around the subject that's most important to millions of legal citizens. The 3 leading candidates clearly are afraid to offend the Hispanics. They've apparently forgotten about the millions of voters that aren't Hispanic. I'm still waiting for a candidate that I'd back 100%. And, time is running out!

Sure! By the way, when will Hillary play basketball with the Hoosiers?(Please don't tell me she is, I'd hate to see her outfit. A pantsuit isn't athletic attire, is it?) Glad to see the voter ID was upheld in your state. As your Sec of State, stated last night, you have to have a photo ID to rent a movie! I like bottom-line thinkers who speak in language that everyone should be able to understand.....without using an interpretor! Go Hoosiers!

You mean they are afraid to offend the illegal aliens and their open border friends. I know lots of citizens that are hispanic and they are sick of illegal aliens and open borders. The media propaganda just makes you think that all hispanics want open borders. It's just not so!

Ron Paul is an idiot and a manipulator---he won't even sign the SAVE ACT!!!

Why won't he sign the SAVE ACT??? He won't sign the SAVE ACT, because as a Libertarian---he feels that employers should be able to hire illegals. Go to his website and look for ONE place---where he says that employers should not be able to hire illegals---you will NOT find it!!!

He also feels that employers should be able to bring in as many foreign workers as they want through the numerous visa programs. Go to this site and look at his past voting records http://www.numbersusa.com

Congress still plans on increasing H1-B Visa's. We must ACT NOW!!

Subject:
Real ID Act and Immigration

To:
Rep. Timothy Mahoney
President George Bush
Sen. Bill Nelson
Sen. Mel Martinez

April 29, 2008

I have mixed feelings about the Real ID Act.
On one hand, I resent my rights being encrouched upon. I do not trust my gov't not to have ulterior motives for implimenting it. On the other, I will do almost anything to keep the illegal "parasites" out of my country.

Reported on CNN this am
OUR POPULATION WILL HIT 1 BILLION BY 2100.
Illegal's enter our country at the rate of 3000 per day.
Our gov't listens to Bill Gates foolishness and wants to increase H1-B visa's for more people. We then have "chain migration" to top it all off.
How sad that our once great country will be one big highway and strip mall. Our resources will be gone and we will be killing each other for water like rats in a a cage.

All this because BIG BUSINESS NEEDS CHEAP LABOR!!
My question is:
After they (along with our Congress), ruin our nation. When we are all living in Third World conditions with no money to spend. Who do they think is going to buy their products???

End chain migration
End "anchor baby" citizenship
Put a moratoreum on ALL immigration until we research the need for more people.

SAVE OUR COUNTRY FOR THE GENERATIONS TO COME!!!!

If he was in office, he would also sign the SAVE ACT.
