I'm wondering the same thing! I just googled looking to find where everyone might have gone (since 'boppin is down). My favorite forum is gone *sigh*

It was mine too...I'm a bit concerned by Bopp's address to his readers.. I didn't realize my participation there was part of an experiment. The part about giving energy to an internet experiment. Here's his address:

Hello Boppers
The Earthboppin Forums are closed for the forseeable future. I have personal matters (non-medical) that I need to deal with that are going to take all my energy and time. Please do not email me...I don't have time to answer...I will try to get the searchable archives up if I can find the time. If these boards do not return in the future then I want to take the time now to thank everyone who has participated in and freely given their energy to this internet experiment. If there are updates I will post them here. Continue to love and care for each other. As Hunter said, "It's still not weird enough for me"....or something like that.
Bonne chance!

Yes, I wondered about the "internet experiment" comment also. It sure would be nice to know what's going on. I'm having forum withdrawals. Don't you have to pay to post to JOB's site? I just can't afford that right now.

From Skywise:

For those who frequent Earthboppin, I'm sure you have noticed that those forums are currently offline for the foreseeable future.

This is just a quick note to invite those folks to a board on my website so that the EB community can still meet. EVERYONE is invited.

Hi all, I've mostly been a lurker at Earthboppin, but it's been one of my regular daily stops for years. Quite startling to see it go! Anyway, thanks JTRIV for inviting people to your board. I hope it works as a new gathering spot. I also found this thread via google, so maybe others will too.

I hear you when I went to register it said that it wasn't available. I registerd with earthwaves and I'm waiting for a response from the mod. Maybe that will be a good alternative. There are a few people I worry about on Earthboppin. Some need to post everyday. Hopefully we can alll find each other soon. Thanks for posting.

This whole thing is strange. I don't think you have to pay at job but I do know that the registration is not available right now. Try earthwaves, it looks good. Forum withdrawals...:-) I hear you !

Did you try Socal's site and Skywise? Many have gone to those.
