Wrong headline, Should read, Watchdog group tries to outlaw something that is not illegal. Instead of fighting the real problem in seabrook, Pain pills and Heroin.

I agree this stuff is bad, and needs to go away.

But the way the watchdog group is doing it, as a tax payer in seabrook. Is going to cost this town so much money. I want my tax dollars spent on roads and schools and improvements, not giving it away to someone because a group in town pushed the town to break the law.

The latest article on this in the local paper shows, that they are already moving to sue one of the people involved.

I read the NH statue on Slander, Then watched the public meeting, and she did, under the law commit slander.

Maria Brown Let me get this straight.
Just watched the recording and first off thank you Mr. Hess for sticking up for our youth and the parents that are struggling.
Town residents vote in 2011 to ban the sale of synthetic poison/drug with as many votes as Khan was elected by. Keep in mind the wonder boy Attorney sitting at the table feeding our residents the smoke screen was also voted out by our tax payers ...but he is still around giving his garbage opinion. Vote ignored by Selectmen Khan over two years. Keep in mind electioin is March 2014 and Khan is up. Outcome in my eyes the dealer/store owners can continue to sell with no accountability but the user will be fined if caught on the Road with the purchase which puts extra work on our Police Department to have to watch every person that leaves the many stores in order to catch the buyer. ie...Reward the drug dealer and nail the user/addict and add them to the system cost directly to the tax payer and unspeakable continued pain for the families of the user....Khan had a chance tonight to redeem himself and in my eyes he failed along with the rest who added two cents to the smoke screen tonight. Again we have put aside the dangers to our residents/youth and instead worry about the challenge that store owner/dealer may do. I say bring it on and ban it now. Let the court decide what is right or not we waste plenty of money on attorneys this one "OUR YOUTH" are worth the fight. I hope when you all vote in March you will remember this and hopefully we will see some names on the Selectmen ballot that will do what is right of our Town and oust the warm bodies that do nothing but talk the talk.

I hope I am not the only one that is not a idiot in this town. This rule goes towards road. It does not enforce private property. These stores share borders with hampton falls and salisbury. They never have to go on seabrook roads. I watched that tonight and was in shock. I can not be the only one that knows how rt 1 is.

The stores are situated within the border of Seabrook, and there is no access to the stores without using public streets and roads in Seabrook. The Hampton Falls and Salisbury lines are a little further away. There is no access to the stores unless you use Seabrook roads, including delivery trucks, mail trucks, UPS, FedEx, etc.

Not true, The store on the south side of seabrook, has a access point into the private parking lot on the main street side. If the package is shipped to a po box in salisbury, then it is a simple course of driving it down that route, and never once did it touch seabrook roads.

The north end store, is a little bit more, but still able to do it I believe. I live closer to the south seabrook store, and I actually checked the route last night. on my way home from work. I take exit 60 off 95 home.

Maybe Kiki and her watchdog group can really make an impact by cleaning up our streets from pills and heroin. Hard to do when SPD has dealer relatives try and take that on.

Hell Kiki wont fight that fight, She avoids it like the plague anytime anyone mentions it on her facebook page.

Look at her cronies that are leading this with her. Take a look at there family members who live with them.. Biggest pill poppers in town. It is the biggest joke.

Best one is Tammy Calabrese or how ever you spell it.. Her son she preaches about how fake pot ruined his life.. NEWS FLASH.. he has been in and out of jail for the past 10 plus years.. an never once was he arrested with fake pot.. but he has been arrested for pills. and other drugs.. and stealing things.. you dont steal thousands of dollars worth of things to buy a 20 to 60 dollar bag of fake pot.. you steal to do a major drug issue, like heroin or perks.

Come on.. while I was typing this, one of the leaders of the facebook march actually wrote this to someone trying to push to get the pills out of town..

Cathy Schrempf-Gosselin Mat seeing you moved away because of the drug in town and you didn't show your face at the meeting to speak (you know everything there is about drugs even the safe one's) why don't you worry about the town you live in now and stop trying to get a rise out of people here I am sure there something you can do to help your own town with all the knowledge you have begone with you your are not need here.

She actually told someone to stop trying to get the pills out of seabrook and worry about his own town.. People like Cathy are the reason seabrook is like it is.. do not agree with her, and you are so wrong! CATHY you should move away.. maybe if your family follows the drugs will follow the addicts!

PSSSSSST.......US Rte 1 is not a Town road. Neither is US Rte 95, or NH Rte 107, or NH Rte 286. THIS ORDINANCE IS NOT ENFORCEABLE ON ANY STATE ROAD or sidewalks on those roads.....They are State property, not Town Property.

Store "North" is totally within the border, and store "South" is within the border, with a Seabrook address, not a Salisbury address, people have to come in and go out the front door, and will get fined $550 to drive away in Seabrook.

Dumb dumb... private property the police can not enforce this on... I.E the stores parking lot.

The driver pulls in the salisbury side and then purchases then leaves the salisbury side... police can only enforce this on town ways... a road must be maintained by the town to be a town way... they do not maintain parking lots...

Maybe the sailsbury side should be gated , watchdogs should look into this maybe even donate the gate to stop the acess to sailsbury. Problem solved!

I think the watchdog group is about a lot more than synthetics . This just seems to be a recent issue being tackled. Seem hilarious that some have a nerve to say we need to clean up the pills and heroin when they should help out first by cleaning out their house! The towns been sued for far more petty things. If we are sued and it saves one life , it's worth it! If you've ever attended drug forums the watchdogs hosted you'd know that synthetics are just one of the drugs they are fighting. Instead of putting the group down try to join the fight and help bring your ideas on how to get the pills , heroin, and crack off the streets instead of sit behind a computer and bitch ! Open up your narrow mind and see the full picture watchdogs are more than a group trying to ban synthetics ! I for one am thankful for there fight!

Maybe if the parents of some of these kids new where they were and what they are doin at night and days they wouldnt be into this shit. But what do some of these parents know they are kids themselves. It all starts at home and quit blameing everyone else. Take responsability for your kids and quit blameing everyone else. Kids gettin knocked up at 13 to 16, sick that is what it is. Sad part is some parents think it is cute. Yea there is a drug problem in Seabrook but it is everywhere. So find out what your kids are doin at night and see who they are hanging out with. I blame the parents for not doin their job.

I agree with this post 100 percent.

look at Cathy, she went to the newspaper and blamed everyone else for her grandkids problems besides Her and her grandson, oh and that waste of space she shares her bed with!

She says it is the other older teens in the area that corrupted her grandson. Did he not know better? Lack of parenting there!

Where are his parents in the first place. Oh they are druggies too! where where his parents when he was getting high? Getting HIGH TOO!

So if that is the case, looks like it is a whole family of drug addicts!!!

Cathy, Your kids are drug addicts, your grand kids are drug addicts. There is a pattern here. You blame everyone else, but the real blame is on YOU! I wonder if we look into your past, Which I will if I need to, I bet I find a drug arrest on your record, or the waste of space your with..

I do agree that our town needs to be cleaned up. What sickens me, is that we have people like Cathy, who says it is everyone's fault but her own! If she had been a proper parent and taught her own kids, to avoid and just say no. Her kids then would have installed that in to her grandson.. CATHY failed her family, and blames everyone else.

If you wanna see someone clean this town up.. Get rid of the entire police dept. They have to many friends on south main and collins street.

The watchdog group needs to be overhauled. Kiki needs to not be the only one in charge. She runs it like nazi germany. If you do not agree with what she says, she kicks you out the group, and then blocks your comments. If someone is trying to help. Do not block them. IF you do not agree, Debate them. But do not block what they are trying to bring.

Hell Cathy last night, told a guy trying to help, that he was not needed to help seabrook.. please cathy, Seabrook needs all the help it can get!

At one time we had a chief of police the druggies in town were in fear of,,Mr Baker was his name. I dont blame the new chief at all he is a great guy and is doin his best. But when Baker was here there was fear in this town. But of corse a couple selectmen didnt want him here,i wonder why. Seabrook has drug problem just like everyone else. As for blasting Cathy i personally know Cathy for many years and have known her family very well. I never once in 40 years to know Cathy did drugs. Blame who you must but that dont solve the problem at all. Like i said in the other post, it all starts at home and family values. I really wonder who knows where are what their kids are doin. But all you hear is,, my kid wouldnt do that. Well guess what,, they will and have done that stuff.Just like a alcoholic you have to admit you do have a problem and so do your kid or kids. I wouldnt let my kid hang out or even go on collins street ot south main street. Bunch of losers hang out there. You drive by anytime and you see the same people just hanging out ,not working just waiting for dark to go to their night job,,rippin off the hard workers. So dont blame anyone ,, blame all the parents who dont know and dont care where their kids are at. Search their rooms and see what they are up to. Is it wrong to do that? I would say no, you either pay the rent or the mortage, it;s your house. So to all you parents, dont believe what your kids say. You really think they are going to tell you they take pills, shoot up, smoke weed.or anything else? We were all kids and teenagers and we all lied to our parents, if you say you didnt i have to call you a liar. So lets work together and clean this mess up and stop blameing everyone else. IT ALL STARTS AT HOME PEOPLE, DONT YOU GET IT. Drop a dime on these dealers and clean the streets up. If you have a relative and you dont wana drop a dime on him, well guess what it is going to happen to your kid someday. The worst thing we can do as a team is to blame everyone else. It;s the parents fault for not knowing where their kids are.

look at Cathy's page, I did, and it took me about 3 minutes to find out why she wants nothing to do with the pill and heroin problem. An I do blame Cathy for Her GRANDSON. It was her responsibility to raise him. While he was out getting high all over the place. She was doing what? Hell the kid was taken from her too, and placed in the chase home. If she was fit to raise him, and was doing a proper job, that would not happen. She blames the teenagers in her neighborhood. Where was she at? When her kid was out breaking into things, Where was she at? When he was coming in HIGH, where was she at? Why did she allow him to go back outside? The kid has issues, But the kid is also 13 yrs old, he knows what right and wrong is. If he was to commit a crime, that was serious, bet your ass he would be charged as a adult. Cathy would blame the system, and say he did not know better. Truth is, she failed this kid. Just like she failed her kids, This boys parents. Parenting is done in the home, not at school, not at the police dept. When I was growing up, If I did something wrong. I begged to school principal to call the police. I did so, because I knew the police would not do half of what my mother and father where going to do. I love my parents and I am so glad they raised me correctly. Sadly, not everyone has good parents. Example, Cathy's grand kid. He has been robbed of proper parents. All around. They would rather have the state take responsibility, then complain they have to have his birthday party in a state facility. If they had been PROPER parents and grandparents, They would not have to go to a facility to see there grand kid, They failed this boy so badly. It should be a crime. If I had my way, CATHY and her waste of a BF would be in CUFFS. An I pray to god that they do not let that boy go back there. EVER!!

No need, I will just report you To DSS. You are clearly unfit to raise a child. Ill just forward them the copy of your interview with the Hampton Union. You admit you have no control over him. You admit you allowed him to run the streets and do drugs while under your watch. Heck why was he in the chase home to begin with?

I really hope I can get the state involved and get that boy into foster care. If not, I see a long stay in concord State prison in that boys future. If I can help him now, maybe I will be the first one to really care about him. An get him the help he needs. A proper parent figure who will watch over him and take care of him. Instead of waiting for the monthly check.
