Possible. No proof would exist back in those days. Nice try.

No he didn't. He never married.

No, LOL. But you sure are.

I have proof, you have none. There is no legitimate claim to a descendant of Gen. John F. Reynold. But hey, since we're in the world of impossibility did you know my great great great grandfather was Abraham Lincoln? Reap it. snicker.

You have a hometown (Gettysburg) that is inundated by violent crime and child rape. Did you see the article about the armed home invasion robbery in Gettysburg? Have somebody read it to you if you haven't seen the story on TV, if you have a TV. Yet ANOTHER example of the street gangs in Gettysburg just kicking in people's front doors and terrorizing the residents with deadly weapons and robbing them and likely raping children and anyone else they want to rape.

I hope you are the next to be victimized by the gangs. I hope your trailer door gets kicked in at 4am and you awake to the business end of a shotgun in your ear.

And before some local hick apologist comes on and says it happened in Bonneauville, reap it, the Postal Service calls it Gettysburg! Hillbilly buffoons!

Yet another example of a federal agency coming in and dictating things to your little cesspool of a town. And you can't do anything about it because you're all dumb hicks.

That's very true in some cases. Take this one, for example, that I found on Ancestry.com It's all there in black and white if you know where to look.

Good Evening,

My name is XXXXXXXX XXXXX and I reside in Pennsylvania, just north of Gettysburg.

I've long since been interested and passionate when it comes to the Civil War, not only for the obvious reasons, but because of the family ties that bind me to that era. I'm a descendant of Maj General John F Reynolds, my 4X generation great grandfather fought with the 101st and 171st PA Vol. Inf and I had two cousins that fought out of S.Carolina, so I have valid interest in both the
North and the South.

Now my interest lies in the areas of preservation, education, volunteerism and fund raising, all geared towards steering the interest and passion of our youth in the direction of preserving our history.

I've been working on this for months and have been trying to solicit
assistance and support from the historical community. I've contacted all sorts of orgs, individuals, reenactment groups, etc...including the Cumberland Valley School District, which my children currently attend.

What I've been looking to do is this:

I'd like to begin a new non profit org, one along the lines of SADD, 4-H, Girl/Boy Scouts, an org that is instilled within our schools. This org would be geared towards historical preservation, education, volunteerism and fundraising. Children from elementary schools, 4th and 5th graders on up, could join this org/club, if you will, and join in existing efforts already ongoing within their communities, as well as, implement new programs that the org comes up with to
assist in raising awareness, interest and money towards historical preservation and education.

I wanted one of the programs that this org develops to be something along the lines of a summer camp, a camp geared towards living history...giving the kids who participate a real hands on experience with regards to how soldiers/civilians lived, worked, played and fought during the Civil War era. This could be a camp that would last one/two weeks out of the summer in places such as Gettysburg, Chancellorsville, Fredricksburg, etc...I'm hoping to build this organization, starting here in PA at Gettysburg and have it grow to all the towns up and down the East Coast that hosted Civil War battles.

Now, of course, I'm aware of the magnitude of what I'm proposing and so I need help, alot of help. I know there are alot of orgs, groups, etc...out there doing some of the same things I'm proposing here but if we had one universal org that could bring some of these events together, I think we might be more successful in reaching out to our youth and gaining their interest and passion for history and their communities and keeping it.

I will really need the help of reenactors once this is up and running, but I'd like to form a committee of like minded individuals that will share my vision of what this org will be able to accomplish for history, communities and our nation's youth. I need help getting it started, I need help troubleshooting and brainstorming to get this together and I'm looking to members of the historic community for help.

I'd like to know your thoughts on this matter and I wish to thank you so much
for your time and consideration.

I hope to hear from you soon and wish you a good evening.

You are a freaking joke. Keep posting.

Most people WANT to hear about the Civil War and to hear from a direct descendant only adds to the excitment.

Yes, I can imagine the excitement when you claim your relationship to Gen. Reynolds and there is a person in the audience who happens to be "in the know" and tells you that you are full of crap because he didn't have any descendents. Keep 'em comin' lamebrain. This is good stuff!

As with anything when there is someone who's in the audience who thinks they are, "in the know", its easy to dismiss someone who isn't in the know.
As I was saying before, having a link to a important person who was in the war helps me understand and communicate the emotions of those involved. Being so intimately associated with the war helps me to better understand it. The loss of such a vital part of my family has left our family in turmoil for generatons.

So, you've never felt a loss within your own family? How sad you have no emotions for your family. I have such a deep understanding and appreciation for what my family has done not only for Gettysburg but for the entire country.
it makes me proud to think that link also courses through my veins too.

Because Gettysburg has a lot of child rapists and violent predators living within its boundaries. It's frightening to think of how dangerous things have become in Gettysburg.

It's really bad crime-wise in Gettysburg these days. The gangs and the child rapes have become so common that it's not unusual to see a few reports per day of a child predator raping or touching an innocent victim in Gettysburg.

Gettysburg is disgusting. Men from Gettysburg rape children.
