If STEP has been around since 1988, why is EPD just now handing them out. If they want to find gang members just come over to the Zoe campus(now closed) anytime at night, all night, and they will find all they can handle. I doubt they(EPD) have the "nards" to confront these gangs in this area, You never see a Black and White around here unless it's CHP.
Have some "balls" EPD and respond to our calls and clean up this area around this school before something BAD happens!!!!

...this area just has a bunch of wannabees that wouldnt last a day in L.A. or even the bay area ...its easy to act 'hard' when you dont have other fools around the corner trying to put you underground on a daily basis... Ive NEVER seen a REAL banger representing in this area ...Im talkin true SUR or NORTE activity... not some wannabee asains, or some wiggers hanging around a jr high school... the closest REAL hoods you will find are near Santa Rosa...

I know the "gangs" you're referring to are the wannabe bloods/crips/etc around here, the inner city street gangs, and in that respect you're right.

However, if you think there aren't legitimate gangs in Humboldt that are VERY dangerous then you're blind. The HAs have been here for decades, and the mongols moved in years ago. We just had a gang shooting outside the Shanty a little while back involving mongols... where have you been? These guys are DANGEROUS and they don't mess around. In addition, we have south american drug cartels moving in to violently take chunks of the marijuana market (worth billions) and there have been countless deaths involved. These are gangs. Not the kind you're referring to but they're gangs nonetheless.

If EPD thinks there are legitimate members of classic inner-city street gangs hanging around they're nuts.

I want to know more about the Ferndale Happy Cow gang. Are those heifers throwing down on the non Ferndale cows? Or is it organic vs normal? That could be a hate crime, I think, since organic is a minority.

True, but that house on Hubbard is a den of scum that need to be removed from that neighborhood. Anyone who lives near Myrtle Ave Market knows this house...its amazing more arrests weren't made. Douc**bags.

O-N-L-Y three?

Come on guys and gals! We know it's the holidays and we tend to slack-off, but this needs to be ramped-up!

Fill them jail and prison cells with those who obviously do not share our community values and good at heart!

Stop third-world symptoms from spreading. It's bad enough already!

If the economy collapses and the dollar completely looses it's value, I believe you will see the rise of local armed militias in this county that will mete out swift justice with extreme prejudice upon any and all gang members. Ironically, the only thing "protecting" the gang members is law enforcement personnel. If the the system goes down- the gang bangers better have eyes in the back of their heads because there are PLENTY of armed citizens who know how to shoot, and won't tolerate any gang terrorism, extortion, or drug running. If it comes to protecting family and home, gang members will be hunted down like dogs.

Clint, is that you Clint Eastwood? I could hear that cheesy spaghetti-western music playing, while I was reading your post. When the sky falls, maybe your fantasy will come true, but until then... try to stay on your meds, and have someone keep your guns locked up safely out of your reach.

whether they are real or fake, it does not matter, looks like easy access to drug in humboldt county made bay area gangs to branch out in our area.

anyway, these are scum bags, low lives, cancer to our society, and Eureka,

we get enough problems in our city without these bums from bay area.

Bangers are like lamprey. If the Obama depression continues then the regular folks will solve the problem. But we live in an area that does not believe in reality. Such is life.

Did anyone ever read Papillon? Charming place, I think that since the American Prison System has proven that it is no more that a training ground for organized crime that the time has come to revisit the idea of sending proven violent repeat offenders to such a place with no possibility of parole. Is this inhumane? Let the punishment fit the crime. The good people of America need a break.
