It is a matter of public record that this woman has had her children removed from her home by CPS several times. Each time the children are sent right back. She had these same children in her home shortly after this happened and she was once again arrested for injuring one of them. This is one of those cases where it will take one of them getting killed before someone (like the father) to take action!

First of all I would like to say That I am allready quilty before not just all, but most all documents have been reviewed by the correct county officials. First of all CPS has been involed in my husvbabs and my childrens lives. The time of Question Yes, I did give four of my children "licks", with a PADDLE. Two of them were left with marks on thee bottom and no where else. Four of them had been watching a movie that they were told not to.(that is another story on it's own.) Anyway, they had been watching "Pycho" the movie. I walked out of the restroom and went to the livingroom to catch them chasing each other with Steak Kknives! Scared me to peices. They also had there 2 year old disaballed brother, running arond him.(he has ceberal palsey). I normally did not spank the kids, but dad was working out of state and I felt that I took the right action by giving them licks. I never once thought "hey I am going to beet them and end up leaving marks on them. I love my children with all my heart. Might I say again that there were four of them that got punished that day. Two of them unfortunatlly had some marks on there behind. I have been slandered and the allagations on me are so far streathced! This act had actually happened two and a half years before charges were brought up against me. I complied with the CPS Dept. And were able to have them with out any supervision. I think you as the publick should hear a little of my side of the story. Our smallest disaballed baby is not even allowed to hear me say "Mommy Loves You" As well as my older baby's.(they are all my baby's and allway's will be.) Going on three years now, corporal punishment is not a option in our home. We (my husband and I) have taken all kinds of parenting and how to deal with serious sitiations. There are so many things I would like to write here, actual facts. Things that do not exagerate. But I will leave this comment with my children are the most mannered, A,B honor roll students in Beeville. I assure people that I am doing everything that I am allowed to do at the moment to get our family back together again! I am a very good person and if you ask anyone who knows me, they would tell you the same. I know that I have GOD looking over my baby', my husband, and I! If you guys have any questions you can email me at kathymclifton@yahoo.com.
Thank You, Mrs. Kathy Clifton

I would like to say that 90% of what Kathy Clifton posted in her comments is untrue. If someone is going to post comments on here, they should at least have the decency to tell the truth. There are innocent children in this whole mess and I sincerely hope that this time CPS will not allow the children to go back into the home of Mrs. Clifton. I would also hope that anyone who posts information on here would also have the intelligence to use spell check.

I could not believe my eyes when I read Mrs. Cliftons comments. I guess that she feels brave by posting a comment giving her "version" of the facts. The problem is that most everything she posted is untrue. I have personaly read some of the investigation documents so I know this to be true. The first events that led to her grand jury indictment and arrest were published in the local Beeville newspaper as well as this site and it was no where near 2 1/2 years ago. Dad was not working out of state. She was indicted and arrested for injury to a child a second time just a few months ago which was covered again by the Beeville news. Why lie about the facts when one of the stories is ON THE PAGE YOU ARE COMMENTING ON! I believe the Beeville Sheriff's actions and not one but two grand jury indictments speak very clearly about what took place. The facts are published open records. Thanks to the open records act anyone can reasonably obtain. She has invited people to contact her. I would invite anyone who is interested in the safety of children to contact the Bee County Attorney who is representing CPS in this case. Your time would be better spent. Obviously Mrs. Clifton has no remorce for her actions.

I like how her first post was all sweet and talking about god then the next was cussing and getting angry. She didnt want her kids watching psycho because they might relate to their own mother. What a skank. Hope those kids find better homes or we could have another Andrea Yates on our hands. She loved to talk about god too:(( Most women that beat on kids are too scared of everybody else. I guarantee you I would beat your ass into the dirt if I saw you hitting an innocent child. Crazy ho

I grew up old school, where my parents did spank. Im not going to trash this woman for disciplining her kids. Maybe a paddle is too barberic these days but a spanking is not. Cps has taken away the right for parents to do this. The outcome? A bunch of kids doin wrong cuz they know parents cant do anything with them. Spanking isnt illegal. Its still offered in our schools. People should mind their own. Later when these kids are robbing your house or selln drugs then people want to say, why dont their parents do anything? To each his own.

I see nothing wrong with Mrs. Clifton disciplining her children. I have 3boys of my own who get out of line at times. Believe I will swat there little behind if they disobey me or embarrass me in public. When I was in school I got licks with a paddle a few time and best believe I feared it and tried staying out of trouble so I don't get licks again. These kids know days need a little more discipline instead of someone running to there rescue when a mother try's n shows them that there will be action taken for there faults. I'm so worried to see how horrible this younger generation is going to turn out. I'm glad that I am a mother that disciplines my children and not let them run all over me. That's why I keep my circle small because when I discipline my kids I no the people I hang out with are my close friends that understand where I'm coming from

Nothing wrong with discipline these kids r wild these days n do what they want run the streets do drugs and yes cps is not right what they need to do is put the people away that do have all the evidence on their child like the ghetto girl that had over 40 injuries to a child. That btch needs to be in prison. Cps is on the people that just try n teach their kids right from wrong so their kids don't end up ghetto in n out of juvi, jail,

There is a fine line between disciplining your child and abusing them. You can't go around injuring your children! I was a social worker back in the day and I can tell you nothing good ever came out of busting a child's skin open with a belt out of anger. If a wife cheats on her husband and he slaps her he goes to jail. So what's the difference? Kids have rights too. This woman makes no sense. The kids had time to watch an entire movie she didn't want them seeing? Where was she? Napping? It's much more than she is saying. If parents took the time to mentor their kids and spend time with them instead of just giving them attention when they misbehave then maybe kids would learn to be better. I've never spanked my child a day in his life and he has never so much as had one bad mark in school and regularly gets complimented on how well behaved he is. It's all because I spend time talking to him and teaching him about life.
