You lost your personal freedom the moment you first sucked on that butt (talk about a visual picture). That is when you became an addict, unable to go even an hour during a meal without a smoke. We do not have to suffer because you are addicted. We really don't care if you become a hermit and smoke yourself to death inside of a little room with piss yellow walls as long as that room in inside of your own house that you do not share with anyone else.

You can eat through that hole in your throat, the one you honk out off to talk.

Me or my children shouldn't have to breathe 2nd hand smoke from some inconsiderate jerk off. If I wanted to breathe it I would of started smoking myself, which I'm proud to say I've never even tried it, it's absolutely disgusting!!! The new law also goes into effect to where if you get caught smoking in a car with children in it then you will recieve a ticket! Hahaha that's awesome! People complain that our government on all levels do nothing to help us, well when you start to say it think of this and say its wonderful that they are doing something so great to help us non smokers and children!!!!

Grilled meats also cause cancer. Hope you're vegetarian .To the enlightened people who don't want to breathe second hand smoke I'll agree with you when you stop driving your cars and stop forcing me to inhale your exhaust

If you really want to ban cars, work for it. We did for smoking and we were successful. Of course, now if cars are in certain cities they have to be tested to make sure that they do not pollute too much. Diesel trucks now have to use cleaner fuel. Cars use less fuel and pollute less than they did even a few years ago. Electric cars and fuel cell cars are coming into their own. Young adults are less likely to want to own cars than their parents at the same age. Coal fired power plans now have to use scrubbers. Wind supplies a lot of power. Solar is now affordable. Much of this was brought about by the same people who brought you smoking bans. Plain and simple, we care about our health. We are demanding that our fellow citizens who are not as smart as we are quit putting our health in danger. We are driving less and using public transportation. We are looking for green alternatives to many of the things we are doing. In other words, if you are willing to jump on the clean air bandwagon with the rest of us, we will welcome you with open arms.
