Any more details or info on ALL the names of the six people accused in this criminal conspiracy to manufacture meth case? Or locations of other meth labs in the area? Get involved. We the people have the power to end this thing. Right?

WHY? Does this meth addiction/production continue in Coles County STILL? Why can't or will local or state or federal agencies stop this thing? Can they?

Can WE?...YES!!

Why no big crack or cocaine arrest in Coles County or the surrounding counties ECITF? Why can't or WON'T you affect the flow of this this controlled substance in Our community?

Only had luck so far with marijuana and meth,eh?

What about the heroin overdose deaths, and crack and cocaine related crimes like the ALL THE CURRENT ROBBERIES going on in town,currently?..and in Coles County in recent years? Does that concern this community? It does me and members of Our community? What about the huge amounts of cash flowing thru this county and Edgar county, and others,from drug sales of crack,cocaine and heroine? Can or will any law enforcement officials attempt to make a large bust of any of these street drugs here in Our county? Or others near Us?

Why not? Answer that question and you may start catching on to the huge criminal conspiracy being committed right under your noses in Coles County, and surrounding counties and their citizens. Get involved with ending this activity or bury your head in the sand. Its only going to get worse. Be prepared for more of the same..if you fear involvement in the solutions.

Just sayin....

Crack=blacks,and whites now.
Cocaine=whites, with money. or blacks with money.
Meth=whites,mostly cause of the ease of production here. No brainer. Big profits! Huge!
Heroin=both, Edgar County. Duh.

I agree. Its part of the problem. Supply and demand. Business 101. Corruption breeds money that's breeds corruption. Its a vicious circle. Can it but stopped? Yes. How? Unity in the community..against this plague that affects us all. Get involved in the solutions. Demand action. Contact your State rep. Demand pressure be applied to the sources..not the demand side. Arrest the BIG dealers/ producers, treat the addicts. Duh.

ECITF/ISP handles that type of meth lab clean up after a bust .Its not cheap for the budget tho, they be slow at it sometimes depending on the location and complaints received..and who complains.. The property and neighborhood is dangerous because of this METH LAB contamination, obviously now. Ask Dale Ryder for help if them retards won't clean it up in a timely manner. Political pressure is effective in these matters if your a tax payer. If not..good luck. Coles County is corrupt obviously.

Well said my Friend...duh. Like i've said before, Coles County is "on the map"..always has and will be. Respect that fact and them people. Good luck tho..this community has options to target and solve this problem with solutions if they choose to defend their ground and get involved instead of denying the facts.

Its a huge criminal conspiracy of organized crime.

Mattoon will only get worse as property values continue to plummet and the town loses businesses.

What is the cause of this in your opinion? Drugs? Corruption? Ineffective law enforcement and judicial system? Corrupt police officers protecting drug dealers? Like in the case of former CPD officer JOHN S BLEVINS getting caught ON DUTY in his patrol vehicle buying drugs from known drug dealers? Or him protecting those same drug dealers as a police officer? Official misconduct? Has this community lost the "public trust" that the system is based on and they are subjected to? How can we regain this back? Is it possible?

The ECITF relies mainly on confidential informants to provide the information to them and do the "controlled buys" of drugs. If it was not for that..they could make no cases,obviously. They know this. Its like this nationwide. Everybody knows the identity of task force members..its no secret if your in the game.

Daily Horoscope for May 24

Aquarius

In complete contrast to yesterday, you have your head screwed on firmly today. Yet you won't be boringly sensible or drearily practical, so there's no danger of you having turned into a dry old stick overnight. It's a good day for keeping track of important details and processes, such as confirming a forthcoming appointment or filling in a form and then making a copy of it before sending it off.
