Yes, it is sad that some died, but some was oxycontin and other stuff like mental problems brought on by a mix of things and alcohol. What is really sad is seeing some of the sick ones in various stages of the meth problem. It is really costing us all, and one of the ways it is costing us is the stuff they are stealing from us. When I think about what the recent theft cost our family I agree with the sentiment I read on here last year---it's a pity we can't line up those losers three at a time and let one thirty ought six bullet do its work. My sympathy for them changes real fast to Let me volunteer for that squad!

Yes I know a few. When you get to the point you choose to live or die, and if and when all you can see is death and it really scares you {especilly in the mirror} and you can find that eity bity little bit of hope, that you dont want to died, then you can slowly learn what living is. When you realize that life is not fair, everyday inst' perfect but it is better than the gutter you climbed out of. Then you start living, a long process, but it does happen. Like any addition, you can do it as long as you want to LIVE. The other is DEATH

So you say:
"Like any addition (addiction), you can do it as long as you want to LIVE."

You are as full of sh** as a Christmas turkey. What do you think a meth addiction is??

The physical addiction is so powerful that it USUALLY overrides the desire to go straight. The meth affects and changes the brain. Every day is a struggle. Do you see those addicts winning the fight for 30 days? 365 days? 730 days?

Give us your source about the rate of success so we can go read it! Otherwise, quit giving us garbage like "you can do it as long as you want to LIVE".

Are you saying that you are still on it, that it is to powerful for you to stop. Are you one of them that has not done it, but act as you know all about it. Reading about it, and being there is two different things.

Yes, and everybody must have hope. But a false sense of hope?
The decision to experiment is a death sentence for many, or for most, I would say, in a figurative sense if not a literal death, as the user drags himself along and affects the lives of the entire family...and friends...and community.

The hell with your source of information, I know it can be done!!! Stupid people telling addicts they have No chance is what helps keep them down. What if a child of yours, brother, sister ever gets hooked, or you at that time going to say well, I have to shoot you, you will never be no good. I do know about addiction, 20 years clean, so dont come on here with your bullshit acting like it cant be done, because it can. Learning to live is part of the recovery. And one more thing, people get robbed, killed, and abused by people that has never used drugs.

The only thing this forum is good for is people running off at the mouth. I'm guessing no one who has posted on this thread even knows any of the people who were affected by this. Not everyone is guilty other than guilty by association. Anyone who knows some of those arrested knows they are hard working people who are genuine. Find a hobby people rather than trying to pull everyone down.
"hard working people who are genuine"? You hold the bar low, don't you?(laughing, laughing, laughing)

"Find a hobby people rather than trying to pull everyone down," you say. Don't you think these dirtbags, uh...I mean, hard working, genuine people pulled themselves down?

I know a using, cooking family of thieves, been like that for years, not dying off fast enough. If and when it happens to my family, yes, I will recognize that he sure deserves to be shot BUT WE WILL NOT DO IT, WILL WE?(Read post #82) He will drag us all through misery like that thieving, cooking family I know.

What exactly are you saying? You refered some of the people that were arrested for cooking Meth as hard working and stuggling.
Are you saying that those people work hard but don't make enough money to survive on so they make Meth to sell to make extra money?
Is that what you are saying? Is sounds like that's what you are saying.
If that's not what you are saying, what are you saying?

Just curious here. When a person is arrested here in Mtn. City on a drug charge, does he even go to jail? Is he immediately out on low or no bond?
