Where are you all getting this stuff about sexual deviance? Do you know it for a fact or is just an ugly rumor that has spread? He was always a perfect gentleman when I saw him for 12 years. Never heard anything different in all the years I saw it and I was in and out of his office a lot. You may know something I don't. I am one who tries to believe the best about people until I am proven wrong. Is this a rumor or real? Not one of you can say anything nice about this man. This is definitely not the site for me. Too judgemental and hateful. Are any of you perfect? I try to be a good person, but I am not perfect like some of the rest of you obviously are.
I have never seen any charges against him for sexual crimes. Have you?

Yes. I know for a fact. I don't claim to be perfect. Nor am I trying to act it. Just because someone has sexual issues, doesn't mean they are gonna be arrested. And honestly to some people the issues may just be a normal thing. He was very active on some internet sites. And these sites were not something a child would go to. I personally know a lady who met him on a site. He fed her a bunch of crap about them dating and what not. When she met him he took her to an old dumpy house. In the basement of the house. Told her he was in between places to live. She told me it was scary being there. Apparently he acted weird. And he wanted anal sex. The lady told me it was a wake up call for her. She said she never got on the internet looking for love. Luckily she found a nice man and married. I used to counsel women
And the things I heard just blew my mind.

I liked him too, and thought he was a good doctor. Good doctors don't treat patients, in an altered state. He is what he is, you only saw one side of him. Think about all the good, preachers, priest, teachers, cops and laywers who have committed sexual crimes. Do you think doctors are some how above such behavior? Not fun having your trust broken by someone is it.

Yes, I guess I only saw one side of him. I am very disappointed in his actions. I really cared a lot about him and this all just makes me sick. He was my doctor since he first came to Greeneville and started practicing. He was good to me, but I only knew him on a professional level. I hope he learns from this and resolves to become a better person. So sad for such a smart man who had everything going for him. It is not fun having our trust broken. I am broken hearted about the whole situation.

Sad to hear this. I only knew him on a professional level. What you saying here is definitely disappointing. It shows how far he must have fallen in his addiction. Sounds like his addiction made him do very inappropriate things. Sorry that lady had to deal with that situation. I guess there was definitely 2 sides of him. Just disappointed in a man that I truste with my life. He was my doctor for 12 years and I never suspected any of this. I knew something was not right with him for the last couple of years. I still resolve to pray for him and hope he learns from this and becomes a better person.

I did know his nurse said she was required to be in the room with him and any female patient a couple of years back. I wondered what that was all about. Never saw anything out of line myself. I thought it was his decision to leave Takoma so he could do private practice and suboxone. This is a man I trusted with my medical care for 12 years. I am disappointed in his actions. I hope he will resolve to change his life and become a better person. He seemed like he was a really involved, very competent doctor when I first became his patient. I feel very sad and heart broken about the whole situation. He felt more like a friend than a doctor and I cared a lot about him. Only knew him on a professional basis--just sad. Sad for him and sad for his patients who trusted him the way I did. Heard tonight that he was smoking crack before seeing him patients. I will pray he straightens out his life. His license has now been suspended.

I hate to tell you but the white people are becoming the trash these days. Looking at the busted paper there's about 70 white people in it each week and maybe 1 black ever so often.
That's because Greene county is maybe 1 % black. Come on, wake up.

Why didn't Takoma Medical group file a complaint with the medical board? It seems to me they had an obligation to do so, I guess they don't care about their patients or employees. Seems they were in CYA mode, disgraceful. Thanks Takoma, are you drug testing your doctors now? Don't feed me your crap about someone else being responsible. He was working as a doctor in your medical group. Your name is on the building and I trusted you, big mistake on my part. That big broom came out and brushed it under the rug. You did cover your on butt but not the ppl of Greeneville or your the patients, SHAME ON YOU!

Will rehab fix his other issues? Keep supporting him but know who and what you support.

At that time, there were no indications that he was impaired on the job or putting patients at risk. Would you like to be fired and reported to the Board of Medical Examiners for what you do in the privacy of your home?? I think not. I'm sure that you tell your employer everything that you do while you are not at work. I can't stand people who throw stones but live in glass houses.

Most of us are subject to preemployment and random drug testing. Why aren't our doctors, are they special? Do you want your pilots etc.. drug tested? He works with other doctors and nusrses, and your telling me they aren't smart enough to see his behavior changes? I'm all for second chances for addicts but I don't want them caring for anyone until they have proven themselves.
Why wasn't the official reason for him leaving Takoma reported? He displayed deviant behavior before the addiction issue, that should have been a big red flag. You need to get the facts, then help me uunderstand.

What makes you think you know everything that Takoma is doing? Suppose all is not made public? Suppose things are being done behind closed doors. Suppose you get YOUR facts before you start running that mouth? Yes, he was in the wrong on many levels, but nowhere has it been said he was seeing pts while intoxicated. If a patient of his comes forward that says they think he was intoxicated while doctoring them, they will have to have proof of that. Their word isn't proof.

Suppose Takoma just simply randomly drug test their doctors, it's their name on the building. You must be kidding or high yourself, are you worried. You should be if your not but drugs do cloud your judgement. Want to talk about the other things he was doing?
What was your answer about wanting your pilot drug tested? Yes or no? How about your childs school bus driver?

Understand what I am saying please: Suppose all this has/is being done just not made public????? How do you know Takoma doesn't do random drug testing? Am I worried? Worried about what? Drug testing? No I am not. Could pass one any day of the week. Let me tell you this though....if drug testing became something every job did, I bet you there would be alot of job openings around the country!

I understand exactly what you're saying, and I'm throwing the BS flag.

Suppose they had reported what they Did know? Let me give you the answer since you're having some trouble understanding. Their patients, and employess would have had some protection. He would have been monitered, even after leaving Takoma.
