I am sorry, but this sounds exactly like the "bogus" theft charges that they placed on Pat Ryan. Yes, he drove. To a casino, in a police vehicle, and was drunk, BUT he did not steal dog kennels, etc., and to be placed in jail for over 3 months due to FALSE accusations is terrible. I am no fan of Pat Ryan's by far because he was very cocky and treated people as inferiors while he was an officer, but that is NO reason to falsify documents and put a man in jail longer than most thieves and drug dealers stay in jail. The documents where the city of Grand Junction "supposedly" purchased the dog kennels have yet to be found, Mr. Powers refused to lie for them, and now it seems like they are trying to "make him pay" for not "playing their games"! This is a terrible situation and God will take care of it all. It may be in his time, and on his terms, but The Lord is JUST and he needs no officers, DA's, attorneys, nor judges to agree/disagree to his judgement.

Grand Junction is a small gossipy-clique of a town like most of Hardeman county. If you do not fit into their mold or go against the clique, they start the character assassinations and personal harassment. There are alot of people in offices in government positions who are alot more crooked and devious than Pat Ryan. Pat Ryan is not part of their clique-they do not like Mr. Ryan-thats the real issue. If you know how some are able to break the law and get by with it-then some may wonder why they can't-since it is such common knowledge around here.If a community were to get a reward for being poorly run-this place would surely be in the running. There should be laws for how long any one person should remain in office-Good ole boys central.....
