Is there a way to ANONYMOUSLY report drug dealers to the DEA (I don't feel our local law enforcement takes drug activity seriously). I would ONLY do it if it was 100% anonymous and my name is never brought up. I know of several major dealers who are trafficking across state lines.

The DEA's SOD team uses phone calls, texts, and emails from the NSA to tip off local cops about pot like this, then fabricates an investigation to explain the source of the information.
You don't have to do anything. If a pothead uses a phone, computer, or mail to communicate, they will be brought to their knees.

Just think of all the pot junkies lives they just saved from od'ing!
Although sometimes I think they should just make it legal and watch all the Cheech and Chongs die and solve the drug problem themselves!

You shouldn't threaten the NSA.
They can detain you in prison indefinitely without a trial or even a charge, or simply issue a death warrant for you or your family...

That's why they use pre-paid disposable phones.

You really have no idea how a computer works, do you.
Some phones, like "jailbroken" iphones allow the user to switch the SIM and change the phone number whenever the user wants to as well.

If Narus sees a "new phone" appear, it checks the numbers called and texted. If the numbers a "pre-paid disposable phone" connects to is exactly the same as the list of numbers another phone also connects to, it checks the voice print of that phone user against the voice print of the other phones user. If the two are the same, the new phone is associated with that user. If the other number is then unused for a couple months, that device is marked with a removable "inactive" tag.

The DEA has been setup in Canmer for several months now. Not that they need much intel to find the dealers anyway. It took the Horton guy about 5 minutes after he was busted before he ratted out the Carter guy. Friends like that who needs enemies?

What happens when it is legal in all states? I do believe there are worse things than marijuana. Like people on meth or heroin.

That's true. I think what the commenter was suggesting is that marajuana is commonly the introduction to trying harder drugs like meth , cocaine, and heroin. If you ask marajuana users if they have ever tried another drug, the most common answer is "Yes".

Let me tell you one better. The way they busted the Woodrow Carter and Phillip Horton case in Canmer was by setting up a unsecured WIFI in one of the churches near the Carter residence. They knew he had purchased a laptop computer but did not purchase an internet plan at the residence. When Carter connected to this free WIFI signal, they downloaded everything from his computer. Marajuana seed sites, skype calls, private messages and emails to and from Horton, etc. That's how they knew exactly when to bust in on Horton and after he learned they already knew everything, he spilled the beans on Carter. The old days of using prepaid phones and someone else's unsecured WIFI are over for dealers. The DEA no longer needs input from the NSA, they're pretty clever on their own.
