Sickens me to think back at the time when Crum was killed and how so many of the officials in Mingo county were praising him for "his fight to clean the town of the drug problem". Now, we learn that he, himself, was a part of the drug problem, and worse, that those speaking out so gallantly for him in death were a part of the entire team of conspirators working to inflict pain and suffering on certain individuals who weren't a part of their "family". Shame on them! I keep reading the comment Sparks made a couple weeks ago that he felt "intimidated" working in the environment he was in, his reason for not coming forward sooner with information of wrong-doing he had. Yes, he felt "intimidated", his exact words. Does he think now, looking back, that there is the slightest possibility GW might have felt intimidated, too, and Sparks, himself, played a part in that intimidation? Sparks, don't let the door hit you in the butt on your way out. No, on second thought, let it knock you to the ground where you belong!

Part of Baisden's plea deal was that he will step down as commissioner, according to Hootie.

i don't think this is over just yet,as i'm hearing rumours of links to other powerful people in other parts of the state as well as more to come in mingo county. from what i'm hearing we won't have a county commissioner left as well as a lot of other vacant offices to fill.

I can't believe more people didn't suspect something was up when her husband was killed and they very quickly made her sheriff.
That gave her time to try to cover tracks and sweep things under the rug. Oh well...too bad it didn't work out, sorry bout your luck Mingo Co so called officials.

I would bet your guess is spot on! She is still losing hair. When we see her next time, she will look like Dr. Phil or Bozo the Clown!

You can only know what YOU know, "jack". You don't know what the Feds know (and others), "jack". There would not be these additional charges on Thornsbury, Sparks, Baisden, etc. IF this did not occur. His buddies are COOPERATING and singing a pretty little tune for him to rest by... His family wants to explain it away by saying "I can't believe these people are believing a drug user over my poppaw..." but sounds like "poppow" was in the same boat, doesn't it? I feel bad that their hero is being made to look bad, but the name hero should only apply to those deserving of the name. Did Team Mingo, of which Crum was a member, consider they could let White rot away in jail and people wouldn't believe him because of his drug crimes? Yes, they did. Little did they know that the wheels were already turning for the entire bunch to be run over. And, here we are. Some of them are flatter than a pancake right now!
