WELL I have been on this site alot over the past few months watching what all you people had to say about these kids in Smack Down defending where I can and being pretty honest....WELL now it's my turn to defend the most! This young man is a family member of mine that screwed up and made bad choices and he is paying for them and trying to make his life better. But for you judgegmental a**holes to sit on here and bash his family makes me sick!! Like they aren't going through enough. People wonder where the problem is...well it is the people that can't keep their mouth shut and mind their own business. Enouhg is enough.
You are just another loser of this family of drug dealers, excusing and blaming when you need to look at the way your family raised a drug dealer who sold drugs that hurt many families and killed people. Get a life loser and save the weekends for the drive upsate to vist your family member. At age 24 you may want to take some anal sauve on the visits because he will definilty be some lifer's little bi@ch for four years. Bubba's waitin'.

Your first post was a bashing that the court system didn't throw the book at all of them and just lump them all together and give them the same sentence. Complete lunacy and a violation of the constitution. At least this post had some intelligent comments and the most intelligent remark of all is "rehab is a better choice". Agree they all broke the law and deserve to be held accountable but wouldn't long-term rehab be a better solution if you truly want to stop the heroin problem in this area? Not one of these young people were convicted of a violent crime. Their crime is they are addicts and all addicts will eventually sell to support their habit. What difference does it make if they spend 4 years or 10 years in prison if they aren't receiving proper treatment? Tax payers are going to pay far more money to house them in prison than what it would cost tax payers to send them to a long-term treatment center. I would much rather see someone come out of a treatment center a changed person after 2 years (with the stipulation that they continue a 12-step program or return to prison) than see them sit in prison for 4 years or longer among violent criminals and come out worse than when they went in. As a country, we are not winning the war on drugs because we have been too slow in changing our mentalitly that we need to treat addiction and not just punish the addict. One without the other will not work. When I read the posts it is clear that people only want vengence. Let's see in 5 years how far that mentality has gotten us.
I dont think people want vengence. I just stated the 3 brothers did the same crime and received different sentences. I also said I dont know why judges give reduced sentences. This was not the first time dealing for any of the people involved. They had plenty of time to go to rehabilitation if they wanted to take that route. They did something againt the law and will hopefully get some kind of rehab in jail. Violence is part of drug addiction. Whether the person in angry and takes it out on his family, Whether he drives down a road intoxicated and hurts himself or another individual or if he sells to someone and they die. I see the violence. rehab, death or jail time is up to the individual. If a person wants rehab then go to crisis and let them you up before its too late. There are ways to get it before you get to jail.

Oh.... we should mind our business and shut up while your family member deals drugs? Guess what.... NO WE WILL NOT. Bad choices you say? That's BULL CRAP and you know it. He CHOSE to deal so now he pays. Good riddance I say and I am not alone.
Get a tissue and cry to someone who cares because the people of Hanover certainly do not want to hear your sob story.

So I and my fellow windbags should just look the other way while these drug dealing thugs sell in our community? Yes, it's yours , mine and ours and our generations to come. Maybe you believe in live and let live but when it comes to putting my loved ones and more then likely yours six feet under then there is where I and most decent people draw the line.

And believe me, I'm not perfect nor is anybody else that I know of. One thing I do have is common decency and respect for my fellow man. How about you.....

Wahhhh wahhhhhhhh. Cry me a river Cooper. They put themselves in a position to be judged. No one would be judging this idiot if he weren't a total scum ball selling drugs to others. Perhaps if he would be a contributing member to society, he wouldn't be talked about on an online forum.
