I was shocked and saddened to hear a report on the news about a Peoria first responder who replaced the morphine intended to treat pain in an emergency situation with another medication. The offender was given three years. That is absurd! This offender was in a position of responsibility and trust with a vulnerable population. I believe he should be charged for the pain, suffering, and subsequent deaths of these patients. Shame on Peoria for the cover-up and it would behoove Surprise to go over their records of his employment there. The victims families dismay and disgust is warranted and they should file a civil suit against the offender as well as the city(ies) for their cover-up.

This is from Peoria Fire. I believe they let us down when they covered up Matt Rich's crime and allowed him to continue his emplyment while they completed their investigation. If he was engaging in this type of behavior while working in Surprise why was he hired in Peoria. Are background checks not done.
How are narcotics accounted for? They say they have a lot of security measures that were bypassed. Please identify.
