It's unfortunate, because Jay is a good kid. He got caught up in a game of chance and his luck ran out.
Maybe the money should go to the government and help fund a war that we shouldn't be in. Maybe that is where our focus should be.

It's easy to judge. I know that this is a good family and a mistake was made that will have to be dealt with, but we have to remember that the family is hurting too. My thoughts and support are with them through this difficult time.

You people are fast to pass judgement on this kid, and you dont know the real person. His family and friends are all with him in there thoughts tonight. Good Kid, come on dealing drugs. So every drug dealer is a good person? I could see if he was selling a small amount but 200lbs and 160k in cash. Hope he has a good time in jail. Good job Meriden PD!
