Wrong poster. I didn't write anything about becoming gay, and I was rolling my eyes when I read the growing boobs nonsense...if that was true, I'd look like Dolly Parton.
Far from it...very far from it! LOL
Our state is in bad shape and going from bad to worse. My husband and I won't be able to retire here. Retirees and middle class citizens have been fleeing for about a decade now (over 500,000 working middle-class have left). The up side is that we've got friends that have moved to some pretty cool places. We went to Myrtle Beach in April, our friends live five minutes away from the beach, and another couple moved down there this past June, only about seven minutes away from our other friends.
The more, the merrier. We bring the Tequila, they provide the blenders. It's all good.
You need a gas powered blender for the beach?

There is no such thing as a "basic human right" whose existance hinges upon the benevolence of others to provide for them, and at the expense of others.
You can call it what you wish, it still remains outside the realm and definition of a "right". The error is yours and those who think otherwise.
A right is not a thing that we get from others, no matter how you slice it.
Take your copy of atlas shrugged, roll it up, and shove it up your libertarian azz!! In CIVILIZED countries health care is a basic human right!! Not I said CIVILIZED-that doesn't include the US!!

Yes because America didn't become the best country in the world by doing what everyone else did, and does.

100 percent correct and spoken like a true American.

We , as Americans have made our mistakes but the bigger picture is we have much to be proud of.

Not a single country in western Europe from WW II forward could have socialized medicine without the USA picking up the defense cost that we did and still do.

The crazy thing is that around the globe it is the USA that helps provide socialized medicine for many countries .

This is a cost we should re-examine .
