Wrong place at the wrong time? HE WAS DRIVING AND HAD A LOADED .45 ON HIM!!!! I don't think you can call that a mistake. Wrong place at the wrong time means that he wasn't there for any bad reasons and something happened to him. That is not the case....

The article leaves little doubt as to the facts of the situation.
Two men, both (illegally) with loaded, concealed, deadly weapons at hand.... selling meth.
If someone was "set up" it wouldn't be with a .45 caliber Glock or a Smith and Wesson .38(both very high dollar guns).
A couple of cheap .22s or .25s would have brought the same charges.
Doesn't sound like this is their first "rodeo", dealing dope is most likely where the money for the guns came from.

chambers is a real gun enthusiast and one of the best mechanics i've seen. i hate to see this event take place. i wouldnt call him a dumbass either his IQ score is easily into the gifted range. those that know him will attest to this. regardless of how this all went down i must say he is a truted mechanic and friend and i would recommend his auto work to anyone. lots of young people in highland county screw up. its a hard place to grow up and get ahead. all i can say is if they send him to jail he is gonna cost 60G per year he is in and not be paying taxes... he easily works 60 hours per week between his 2 jobs...unlike dusty oates...

A mistake is when you pick up the wrong set of car keys, make a left turn when you should have made a right turn, spell a word incorrectly, etc., etc....dealing with illegal drugs while packing a illegal firearm is a blatantly stupid choice of lifestyle that can and will cause you grief whether you get caught the first time you do it, or the 100th time you do it....think about it...It's doubtful anyone forced him to participate in those activities....he is a DUMBASS for doing it and is paying the price.

From what I hear James was in no way involved other than driving with his cousin. What's the deal with Billy Potts? There was no mention of him in the news but that was who set the whole thing up. In fact it couldve been his drugs they found.

Carrying guns without a concealed carry permit, especially when with someone who does have drugs with them, is enough to put him away for a while and, again, very stupid life style choices...but HIS CHOICES.
I only carry one gun, have a legal carry permit, and know how to use it well from years of experience and practice. The only reason I carry it is because of the growing number of wannabe bad ass punks that are dumb enough to think they can "stomp ur face out of your skull" just to prove how bad they are. There are plenty of people physically stronger and tougher than me but most of them aren't very smart.
